Living in a world that one can rightly say is presently a digital one, it's hard to not be caught up in the digital advancement and growth. The several digital platforms and certainly, digitalization of everything makes it odd it to be left out. Now we have communications, banking, education, learning, meetings, entertainment at our beck and call, lying on our palms. And all needed is a swipe or tap and we're good to go. With such ease and accessibility however comes the complexities of a digital life.

Such ease that the digital life has allowed us; to instantly have access to things online can result to a clutter as well. If all it takes to download an app is to go to Google playstore or apple store and it's done, why wouldn't one have just as much apps as possible—needless ones even. And with the variety or options of several digital platforms, it's much of a reason for a clutter as well.
Let's say, speaking of the social media platforms; there's Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, X, Snapchat, TikTok and a whole lot more. And as their numbers is so that desire to have a taste of them, especially considering their differences and uniqueness. All this even when some might not be really useful or adding up something to an individual.
For the most, I'll say I've been much on the digital minimalism side. Moments are there when I go into my gallery to search for something and end up spending minutes lost in filtering and deleting some items. This has caused me to loose some files, items, images I somehow needed later on all because I wanted some declutter on my phone. It's been my way like that. I just like the idea of having some free space on the phone. Not necessarily storage space, but what I'll consider some breathing space for the phone.
Decluttering is always something I feel like to do. I like it when some unnecessary things are just erased from the phone. Though this is the way for me, I'll also say it's not easy when it comes to decluttering these items and files. The images especially; I find myself at the moment of wanting to delete them thinking twice, if that was the right move or not. They end up staying, sometimes they just had to go.

To talk of apps, I find uninstalling many a thing to do. Much more when such an app is taking up a lot of space, I don't hesitate much, that's of course when it's not of much use. I recently uninstalled two apps. They were crypto exchangers and I had to do away with the two when I found one that will serve me the function the two were. I had some visual space on the phone and storage space as well.
One app I might put through such fate also is the Facebook app. I'm not much of a "facebooker", however anytime I come into the app I end up spending some time not intended. Considering I don't use it much even, I'm considering uninstalling it some time soon. However, it's the medium I reach out and get reached out to by some persons, hence the reconsideration. Decluttering is something I find useful for my digital minimalism and will do it as much as it's needed.
This is my entry for the Digital Lifestyle prompt.

When I declutter I usually have a file or place to send things so I don't lose something important just because it didn't look important while I was in a cleaning spree. But at some point the files have to go or nothing new can be stored.
If you haven't done so yet, I invite you to check and support Inleo's proposal here. Your support is valuable to us.
Wow, that's so reasonable. I think I'll put that to use too. Sometimes I end up wanting those files I removed while in that cleaning spree. Thanks for this.
Alright, I'll check that and do the needful. Thank you @leo.tasks.
Decluttering is something I find so appealing to do especially on my phone. Not because of storage but to keep the phone fresh and breathing safely. I don't like having too much apps or even emails, photos etc, so I do a deep cleaning every week to remove the unwanted and unnecessary stuff. It's always fulfilling, too.
That's so right. I feel that freshness and fulfilled when I declutter. Seeing that free breathing space is always appealing. I think I should adopt your style of doing that every week.
