We all live in a digital world, wether we tend to be flowing with it or not. One implication of living in such a world and flowing with it is the need to get connected and stay connected, online. Without surprise, we find ourselves and others making deliberate efforts to see that we all stay connected, for whatever reason(s) we decide to be involved with the online world. Unarguably, the current technological age demands it, to be part and parcel of the happenings of the age and also achieve our own desired purposes—could be from little to much important things.

Getting connected could be said to be a difficult thing then. At a time where the only hope was visiting a cyber cafe to get your online things sorted, solved, addressed, to when one could do such on phone, however, with a limited connectivity strength, it could be said that this present dispensation has pushed things to a whole new limit of possibility.
A variety of options and possibilities have been provided to stay online today. Ranging from a mobile data, MODEM, WiFi, MiFi, the choice is just dependent on the user and the availability as well. While some might prefer one option, others could prefer another, or even do a mix of them. The possibility to also surf and navigate the online space in connectivity speed of 3G to 4G and the soon dominant 5G makes connection much more interesting. All, a continuous build up of the digital age and space.
Through my journey with the online world, staying connected has largely been dependent on the mobile data. While this may look like a more available option—which of course it is for me—it may be seen as more economical as well. Well, to what extent now? When the current data price has made it much of an economic effort to just stay connected. I guess even the mobile data connection isn't as much an economical option as it may seem. I would be happy if I had a WiFi connection though.

I've not been much of a MiFi fan, but I discovered it's advantages to be enticing. Saving the battery power to easing the heat pressure from the phone, MiFi looks appealing to me. Nevertheless, I would say my need for it wasn't really considered then. Maybe due to the fact that it wasn't given much attention to around me. Now, it's an option I will likely consider and explore as well. At least, for the advantages aforementioned, it will be a good trial I guess.
WiFi, I would love to have that. Especially when I just have to connect and do my thing, haha. While in school, WiFi seemed to be much of an option when it comes to staying connected for me. Especially when the business was going to take a chunk of data. Mobile data was there for times when I was off school or not within a connection range. The speed is sometimes another interesting factor that makes it a wonderful option for me.
However, I've been able to have such access little since after school, and so my mobile data has been my sole means of staying connected. With a good network in my area, and 4G connectivity, I think I'm pretty sticking to that for now till I decide to get a MiFi, or more importantly I get access to some good WiFi connection.
