It's exciting to see the community come alive. Many relate to the community's scope to somehow be inclusive in their lives, and so they're sharing content in their own unique ways. This community showcase is to shine a spotlight on our community gems since the last showcase—usually between the last seven days.
For more insights, visit the community's introduction post and also find content ideas.
The dream is to build an informative, inspiring, and transforming hub where people unlock 10x their potential in this digital era. And to align with this dream, you way want to have a good look at the community's scope as well.
Creator Showcase
Now, without further ado, let's showcase some of the exemplary posts that represented the community's theme with their alignment, quality, and effort—in no particular order. These posts have been curated by @digital.hub and are highlighted in the community as 'Curated Content'.
JUST A VOICE COMMAND AWAY
A home where I don't need to personally open my door. I could have some voice-over tech where I just give an instruction, and maybe the device will require that i give a door unlock password. The kind where if someone is approaching my premises, I get a notification. The kind where if my doorbell rings, I could see who's at the door, and if I please, they could see my face too. The kind that I don't have to manually control the smart devices in my home from switches to appliances to doors.
MY SMART HOME CHOICES
I once came across a voice-activated oven, and I thought to myself how cool it was. The voice-activated oven allows you to control your oven with your voice. You can tell it what temperature to cook at, how long to cook for, and even what type of food you're cooking. It's really smart. Would be nice not to have to run around turning on/off bulbs, fans, or TV but just issuing voice commands or clicking instructions and having them executed.
The Next-Gen Home: Smart Home Dreams
Speaking about smart home devices, I’ve come across a few which I think are quite cool and would consider buying one if I could. First, on my list would be the mini smart projectors out there. I’m not a Tv person, but I’d love to be able to watch my movie from the wall of my room in a bigger size. Cool right? The traditional projectors I know of are big and sometimes not portable but a smart projector is obviously a cool one to add to my list of devices at home.
And there we have it—highlights of the Digital Lifestyle community last week. We appreciate them for adding value to the community, and we hope this showcase brings more eyes to their content.
