My First Social Media Account

My first social media account then was 2go. I could remember I didn't have a phone then, but my friends did, and they smuggled it in while we were writing our WAEC then. It was a rule to own a phone after secondary school. So anything, probably whenever they are not using their phone, I will use to log into my account and chat with my friends.I could remember everyone was so crazy about the app before it faded away. It was so easy to navigate, unlike Facebook.

I didn't have a Facebook account then because I didn't know how to open one during my first year. I had to open one with the help of my brother. One thing I love about Facebook is the memories it could store for you. You can see your picture back then when you're still in secondary school for the people who had accounts then.

Sometimes when I stroll through Facebook and stumble into my classmates' accounts, I like to check out their old pictures from when they were younger, and it's cool seeing your old self. Facebook is a kind of means to store memories; even if you lose your phone or something later happens on your phone, you could easily get those old pictures back and old memories.

I wasn't opportune to store pictures of my younger self. I didn't have any pictures of mine then in secondary school, the phone. I lost it all, though I still feel bad about it.The next social media I could easily navigate through was LinkedIn. Meeting professionals in their own field and the CEO of a company. I joined a few groups then, and I made lots of posts, and I enjoyed reading other people's posts talking about professional work, and the last of them I joined is TikTok and Instagram.
