It's hard to imagine a world without technology considering the fact that it has been there almost throughout my life, it has gradually progressed through time to become what it is today.
Over the years there have been turning points and pivotal moments that helped technology register itself as a necessity in our life and world at Large.
The ease that it brings into our lives cannot be over emphasized, do we want to point out the ease it has brought to travelling around the world? The ease of communication? The ease of access to important information that sets one apart from the crowd?
As time passed, I have seen technology become my best friend owing to the fact that it helps provide answers to my inquisitive mind. To the fact that it helps me communicate easier and better with my loved ones especially my girlfriend who happens to be in an entirely different city which is over 17 hours away from where I am.
Sometimes I wonder how it was possible for our parents who did not have the technology of Google to pull off some of the assignments they were given while growing up or how they were able to maintain crisp relationships over the years even though they had to wait weeks for their letters to get to their loved ones and another week for it to return.
If I was to outline the major turning points that registered my interest and sparked my love for technology I would say:
- The moment I realized communication would be easier with the introduction of the mobile phone, internet and social media. I have seen myself become friends with amazing people I came across through different avenues that are tied to the fact that technology was present.
Fun fact: I met the love of my life online
- The ease of acquiring information, for me I'd say some of my advancements intellectually and musically can be attributed to the tutorial videos I watched on YouTube. I also learnt how to articulate some words correctly with the help of some other technologically inclined tools.
These, I would say are the two wires that majorly sparked my love for technology.
It's beautiful that we can easily connect even though we are so far apart, it's thanks to technology that you're able to see this my write up which I'm hoping you liked, enjoyed reading and connected with ( if you didn't, I am sorry you gave me 5 minutes of your time which you can never get back🤭)

You can say that again. There has always been a concern of how it affects us negatively as it progressed through time but that's a talk for another day.
