The Digital Skill I Crave

in Digital Lifestyle24 days ago

I always tell @fashtioluwa I want to be like him when I grow up because he’s the real deal. Why do I say that? This guy is well vexed in what he does. And what exactly does he do? He’s a tech bro with a lot of money. It’s safe to say he’s the odogwu of our time.😂

It’s more than obvious to everyone of us that technology is the future. We experienced the emergence of AI and the stir it caused as most people in various industries worried about the fact that AI might take their jobs in the future. Well, the world is always evolving and as individuals, we must also learn to adapt with the latest movements so as to not be left behind.

I’ve acquired so many skills in my life which are of importance to me as most of them are money bringing skill. But as they say, we never stop learning and with today’s economy, you can’t rely on one or two skills. Even people who have a billion and one skills are still upgrading so how much more me , a young blood. Being a curious person, I’m always hyped up to learn new things but sometimes you need a lot more motivation to learn some stuff.

I mostly experience this surge to learn something and once I don’t take the step in that moment where my blood is boiling for knowledge and that phase passes, it’s game over. I wouldn’t say I regret going into the science field but what I regret is not taking advantage of all those tech trainings being organised back on campus during my university days. This is not an excuse but I really had a bustling schedule in school but i still think I could have made time.

I’ve been so keen on learning more of IT stuff since I don’t really have much knowledge in this regard. Even though I missed many opportunities , I managed to make use of one of those phases where I was all hyped up to learn more about web development. It was quite tough for an amateur like myself but my teacher was more than patient with me. But the problem was, I wanted to learn more and it happened that my teacher was busy. The plan was to learn about programming languages like Python, Java and all of that.

I believe these are basic skills every adult should have because they really come in handy. Currently, if I should get any opportunity to learn about these stuff I’d be more than glad to hop on it. In summary, I would say the digital skill I wish I had is everything involving technology or IT. Who knows my odogwu @fashtioluwa might bless me with some lessons.

You spoilt everything the moment you added that laughing emoji after saying he’s the odogwu of our time..

Ad3n is it Kassena Nankana odogwu ways or what?😂

😂😂he will come for you.

Yeah, I'm about to begin a tech inclined course, as well. There's no doubt that the future of our world today is tech. Even though they may not immediately pay. Learning those skills would definitely come in handy in the long run.

So, @fashtioluwa is a rich tech bro? Noted.😂🙏🏾

😂😂😂
I am a tech guy but I am not rich yet. I am still paying with my blood, but one day everything will soft. heheheh

You’re right.

He’s the sugar daddy you’ve always been searching for.

I want to get into these things honestly, but first, I need to go slow and start with the stuffs I have interest in. Signed up for a class that starts today. It is in Tech, God help me. I am already nervous as it is, hoping I don't flop

You can’t flop.

Woman in tech coming right up!🙃🤝

Like Jollof Rice

😂😂😂

@fashtioluwa I slaute you, sir. Our Odogwu on Hive. Come and show me way o. I also have plans to get into these things. Hopefully, I start when I graduate (next year)

Don't mind Nhaji o, that woman is a prof.
But learning tech is awesome, you will be opened to different opportunities

Just keep quiet and accept the praise.😂

🤣🤣🤣
You this lady

😂😂😂

You’ve been is school for so long, it’s about time you graduated from that school.😂
Can’t wait for that day.

Technology is the future. I just have the basic computer skills 😅, and I've always wanted to upgrade.
I hope you do get to learn those skills , and all the best

You’re like me. Just copy and paste and we are good to go.😂😂

😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nhaji what have you done?
You just pulled my leg for the whole world to see.😂😂😂
@justfavour @jhymi
If I tell you Nhaji secret, you will be shocked but I will leave it there for now.
This big woman, prof for that matter is whining me on hive. I know where to get you, don't worry. 😂😂

It's giving, "you'll explain tire, no evidence," sha. Nhaji has already revealed you to us. Get ready.😂🙏🏾

😂😂😂

Let everyone see how smart you are😅

It is your time.😂😂

Is ok
👌
I’m waiting for a prompt I can use to bring you out too

That’s nice.😂

No wonder @fashtioluwa never picks my calls anymore...

I hear you can make workflow easier for yourself if you learn python. Automating things like auto-saving Nhaji's Oscar-winning photos in a special folder becomes easy, you know... But you're already making millions of $$$, so what again madame?

😂😂😂
I thought we were brothers in arms, don't take her side.
And it seems you are the only one that knows her secret, Nhaji is a madame, big woman, prof. She na come and be saying all this things ontop my small head. haha

If I flog that arm...

You think I have forgotten what you're doin with AI these days?? My eyes are on you, hardworking comrade

😂😂😂 Ok Ok. Thanks boss.

😂😂you need to try his other line.

I see you’re after my life. I want more money.

I have some stuff to highlight – and it aims to go indepth, because I see what you want to know is not how to use AI tools but what powers them, the backdoor tech. Like the machine learning LLMs stuff, language model something… tech behind the AI stuff
That’s curious and good sign.

If I see it this way, its exiciting. But else I don’t see much future for someone who is not a prograamer getting into programming, because you have to full time keep updating or you get just obsolete, so unless you have that passion for code, learning programming won’t cool, but yess another skill is alwz handy .

Ofcourse you got to be smart on the skills you want to upgrade to, for you to stay relevant and all that.

Now I am not a coder and so this keeps like… not being clear to me.

How is Cosmwasm Smart contracts secure compared to normal smart contracts?... I imagine its because there is the sandboxed environment where code is tested in the Wasm Virtual machine, before its executed, something like that, and it can’t be maniputed once compliled, all the binaries outputs can be verifired I guess.
I still want to understand why is cosm wasm smart contracts more secure than normal smart contracts. But I don’t get full picture, reading stuff yet, they write some thing that requires some programming understanding.

Anyway… But even then I believe Cosm Wasm smart contracts are very advanced and secure, good quality smart contracts.

The foundation is more important these days as compared the main thing we are using. Without the foundation, the whole product doesn’t even exist.
