Learning from other’s experiences

The world has advanced to the extent that we can learn through the internet and also there are lots of podcasts on how to learn different techniques and of course business ideas.

Podcasting is not just for entertainment but for different things like motivation, inspiration, and of course, dreams. I love listening to podcasts that have to do with motivation because naturally the world is full of a lot of things that could divide someone’s attention and mind from whatever they want to do. But thanks to some motivational speakers on podcasts all over the world, they have set some people’s minds on what to do even without knowing or seeing them, which I am one of them.

I don’t usually use most apps on my phone except for my Facebook and TikTok apps because the two of them are very easy to search, and they give accurate results for whatever I want. On these two apps, I do use them to search for motivational podcasts, and the main reason for doing that was because listening to podcasts that have to do with business, motivation, and inspiration gives me hope and keeps me focused.

It’s not like I listen to the podcast every day, but there are times I feel like giving up on everything, so instead of shutting myself out of the world, I search for what could inspire me and motivate me at the same time, which podcast is the best thing I can think of.

My belief for doing that was because there are lots of people who have passed through the face of life that I am now, and they are sharing their stories on podcasts not because they want to be known by the world but because they want people like me to learn and be inspired to keep moving forward.

I listened to a podcast of a man who got robbed by some people around him, but he doesn’t know who exactly. He said he has fish ponds, and one day someone took all his fish and then destroyed his ponds; then he landed in debt, but while doing the ponds, he had already used his profits to get some properties, which he ended up selling to pay up his debts, and with the remaining money, he started all over again.

Now his business had grown bigger than the former one he lost; if only he had given up on the business, he wouldn’t have been where he is today.

This kind of experience is hard to share on a podcast, but he chose to share it so that people can stop giving up whenever they fail, fall, or are not doing well with their business. I have lost a business once before, and that was when I discovered this podcast thing. Let me just say the podcast I was listening to back then helped me stand up again; if not, I was on the edge of giving up, but when I listened to some people’s experiences, I felt that I was just getting started with life.

What I don’t listen to is when people come online to tell others that it was just the grace of God they had without sharing how it all went down. Sometimes someone’s failure details might help others from failing, and that is why I love listening to the podcast that has to do with detailed experience.
