Why I’ll Always Choose Android Over iPhone as a Nigerian

There are some topics in our society that for years to come, it will continue to spark up debates between the two parties. I can give several instances starting from the debate of who is the best player between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who is the best singer between Davido and WizKid and many more. Most of the time, some people support one while others support one. Then the remaining one left stay neutral.

Today I will also be expressing my own perspective and point of view about a topic similar to that trend which I believe everyone of us is familiar with and that is "Between iPhone And Android, Which One Will You Go For?"

Let me first start by establishing that I am part of the Android Gang for many years and even till now, I will still go for Android much more than iPhone. Well like I said earlier, it point down to personal preferences and so much own perspective is not to talk down on the other brand. I personally, I love Android because with ease, it fits in my daily digital lifestyle.

What do I mean by that? I personally, I have always believed that phone goes beyond the design alone. It also includes how the phone will be able to meet my needs and also been able to withstand some challenges that might want to rise up in the aspect of the smartphone world and generally the digital space.

I remember many years ago when I was about to get my first smartphone which of course turns out to be an Android, one of the things that make me to go for Android is the price range compared to iPhone. That kickstarted my love journey for Android much more than my iPhone.

I remember the price of the iPhone then. It was around 7-8 years ago when I wanted to get my first smartphone. The price of iPhone is twice the price of the Android phone I saw which can meet my digital lifestyle needs. Even though the android has better specification much more than the overpriced iPhone.

Not only the affordability aspect of the Android, the fact that android is really versatile is what also won me to the android side. I personally, I am someone that love customisation. I love to always make sure things fit in my desire and wants and if you will agree with me, Android gives you that opportunity to customise your phone much more than iPhone. With Android, I can customise my wallpaper, widget and generally the settings so that it will fit in my own desire customisation setting. This is what iPhone cannot do.

Android edge over iPhone in the aspect of functionality is what I also love the most. You will agree with me when it comes to the battery aspect, Android have it much more than iPhone. The fact that android comes with opportunity for expandable storage much than iPhone. In fact one of the things that makes me to dislike iPhone at the early stage of my smartphone journey is the limited storage iPhone always have. I personally, I love to carry out a lot of tasks on my phone due to my digital skills and these tasks will require me to have enough storage. When it comes to that aspect, the iPhone is not able to offer me that.

Lastly I will like to talk about is the freeness Android gives to me personally much more than iPhone. With Android, I can just come across any app I love and head straight to the playstore to download it. But that is not possible like that with iPhone. In fact because of this single reason, I have seen a whole lot of my friends switch from iPhone to android in recent years.

As I round up, personally, I will go for Android much more than iPhone because it just fit in to whatever needs I might want in a Smartphones and also fit in my own personal digital lifestyle which is also one of the most important one. Android Team I proudly stand and I don't see myself changing the team to iPhone team in years to come.
