I'd take your "battlefield" declaration even further - the battlefield isn't just "social media". It's a world war, it's been going on for centuries, and its always been "those who demand power over others" v "everyone else". Every other conflict is simply a distraction. Sadly, most of the "everyone else" doesn't even know that they are in a war. A lot fo them actively support their enemy. mindless that they are literally giving support to those who would control them. In fact, if that support were to wane significantly, those who crave power would be easily defeated.
