That is really cool. I am curious how the store charges though? Is it charging in bitcoin or in dollar amounts? Either way, I hope more establishments offer this, and it also becomes available in the Philippines.

Yes, they use a Bitcoin payment terminal. The total is priced in dollars and then we just pay in $HBD using @v4vapp. The waiter won't tell the difference. The merchant won't tell the difference.
If there is any merchant that accepts Bitcoin over Lightning in the Philipines, you can already do this. Just follow Matt's instructions in the video.
Oh, that's cool. So that is why there are no fees or conversions. Unfortunately I don't know of any merchant that accepts Bitcoin in the PH yet.
We made this video to show people how easy it is. Maybe you can approach some small shop owners and show them, they might be willing to try.
I'll ask around. They might have some reservations on how to liquidate/convert it to Fiat, but we'll see. Thanks.
