I wish I could be a time traveler so that, I could go back to the past to fix things for the future. A whole new dimension and matrix could be fascinating stuff, people like me always do calculations in life. I don't regret the present, I am just curious what if I get a chance to go back to the past. Probably the medieval era or maybe the Egyptian world.
History always attracts me and I always love to read about civilization. My wife thinks I am a boring person and she is never interested in history. Can't blame her, she has spent her whole life fixing things. So when I shared my thoughts with her, she walked away.
I have spent half of my life near the sea and in the sea. I saw fear in people's eyes, fear of losing life and everything. I have also seen the mysterious beauty of the sea, the dark deep ocean, and also saw the furious waves and storms. Those days are unforgettable.
Fear is the weakness of humankind, fear stops an individual from moving forward, fear stops fighting back. But when I was in the middle of the ocean, I have learned the most important lesson of my life and that is how to control fear.
I was determined and all I wanted to taste was the extreme side of life. Life can be hard, challenge and it's okay to be fearful but too much apprehensive can damage the life motion as well.
I told you before that I have a lot of stories to share.
Those days are gone now, sailing life I left behind. My family is everything to me now but still, the ocean calls me sometimes. I don't go back, I am now old for the sea. When someone had to go through so much in life, they want to settle down, want to take a pause. Some change the direction, some change the life. I don't have that courageous mind anymore, probably because of my old age or my body that doesn't support my desires anymore.
Because, oneday, in the end, we all have to come back to our home.
