Family life, affection, and togetherness

The old lady we have been taking care of for a long time is having serious heart issues lately. Yesterday her condition was really serious and we had to hospitalize her, unfortunately. We had been spending all of our days in the hospital doing all the paperwork and formalities. Unfortunately, she has no one in this world, no family so we are the only ones who had been taking care of her for a long time. her husband died 6 years ago and after that, she had been under our care.

Her condition is worst this time, doctors said there is almost no hope and the news broke our hearts completely. My wife is taking care of her while I am doing all the paperwork. Her medicines are costly, every treatment and test is expensive but we are trying our best. Her insurance is not that strong and unfortunately, it's not covering her whole treatment.

I don't know how many days are left for her but still, we are hopeful. She is an amazing lady and cared about people a lot. She used to be a social worker and had a great life so far. She helped so many people but no one is now beside her. Strange world, when you need someone, you won't find anyone beside you. Seeing her on the hospital bed in such a condition really breaks our hearts every moment.

My daughter had been helping us a lot, she is very co-operative and understands our situation. The good thing is finally we have found a caretaker to take care of our house and garden. She is a very enthusiastic woman and helping my daughter a lot. So, on that point, my wife is tension-free and can focus on our sick old lady.

We had been dealing so much lately, so many issues arose recently and we, as a family taking care of each one. It's like we are fighting together and it makes me happy to realize that my family is with me. Today I wanted to go out with my friend fishing, my daughter and wife wanted to visit my son but our entire plan got canceled. We are not sad or regretting because our son will understand our situation and he is very thoughtful. I want to give all the credit to my wife who raised our children amazingly. Our marvelous bonding and understanding make me feel lucky always.

After all family matters, togetherness matters. Together we are powerful.
