To me "Sunday Binge" means cheat day, a free day for food lovers especially for sweet tooth like me. I am a sweet lover but due to physical conditions and restrictions, I can't eat sweets. But on Sunday I can eat whatever I want after a disciplined and routined food diet week.
All the deliciousness I can eat only on Sunday because my wife kept me on a hard diet according to the doctor's instruction. It's very important to maintain a healthy food chart according to health regularly but on Sunday I can eat whatever my heart desires for. And that is the only chance to eat all the delicious and ravishing sweets in the world.
For the last couple of days, our housekeeper is not showing, we called her several times but it's hard to understand her intentions. We pay her well but somehow she is not satisfied I think so we are going to have a conversation next week with her. My wife has been busy holding all the personal chores, so do I. I have been helping her a lot since our housekeeper was absent.
Our garden work is almost done and finally, I was able to concentrate on woodwork. My daughter went to her home and she will visit us next week until then it's only us, I and my wife.
Do you remember I wrote about family dinner? A few days ago we went to meet our friend who invited us to join him for dinner. He is our childhood friend and a mutual friend of our family.
That dinner was refreshing and memorable and we were really happy to see each other after a long time. The moment was thrilling and we all were feeling fortunate because the friend of mine lives in another city, far away from where we live. We had a lot to discuss, a lot to share, and reviving our golden memories of our childhood.
It was Sunday so of course, it was a cheat day. My wife couldn't control me enjoying the ravishing and mouthwatering sweets. We have ordered vanilla fruit cake with a slice of cherry topping, blueberry cheesecake with white chocolate moose, and mango- white chocolate cake with the dripping of mango puree.
Each slice of the cakes looked very delightful and charming and it was hard to stay away from that deliciousness. They looked very delicate and crafted and moreover, they looked very tempting.
White powdered sugar was dust on the cakes and I must give some credit to the presentation. It's very important how a dessert look at the first position and it helps to attract a consumer to enjoy the food.
Every bite of the cake reminded me of the world of sweetness and pleasure. Our dessert time had passed just like that, we enjoyed them a lot. The softness of the cake and creamy fruity toppings just melted in my mouth. The fragrance was so tempting that I couldn't resist myself to have another slice.
It was truly a delightful dessert day...
The restaurant was classy, cozy, and nice as well, it was nice to spend time with friends in such an atmosphere.
