The week was great, spending time with family and friends provided a new perspective on life. I used to wonder how bonding works, why we feel emotionally so attached to each other. My children and grandkids are worlds to me, without them I feel nothing and they are my weakness.
I feel when old age holds a human being they feel weak because of the fear of death. Fear makes people delicate and death shows that you can't be alive forever. In the end, you have to go back from where you came from, these bondings, sensations, and sentiments you have to leave behind and you have to enter into the world of nowhere from where you can never come back.
Anyway, this week we went to Fairfax lake and park, Virginia. My wife and daughter desired to go to this park for a very long time, so we decided to make a trip this weekend. The health of our old lady is better so we got some time to go somewhere especially such locations.
The park and the lake are beautiful, 3 hours drive from our place. We started our journey early in the morning so that we can have enough time to spend in the park. My grandkids love water and I love fishing so I prepared myself for fishing too. My wife took a picnic basket and my daughter bought snacks too. This is a family-friendly, multitasking activity park.
The day was cloudy and autumn is about to begin here. The atmosphere is not cold, pleasant weather for a picnic. The water layer of the lake was calm but I was hoping to see the reflection. The trees were about to change their colors and started turning into vibrant red, orange, and yellow colors. The whole scenery had created a picturesque spectacle to enjoy.
The healthy fresh air and the mind blowing nature really made our family trip special. Such atmospheric landscape inspires people to become artists or creators. It's all about how you admire the beauty spreading by nature.
We have spend our time mostly walking in the lakeside area, it was wonderful. The sky, greenery, and the water basin, altogether had created a magnificent panorama that will inspire you to sit down and just look at the prospect. The spectacular and artistic appearance won't bore you I am sure.
Found these duckies nearby, they were relishing their moment unitedly, was swimming freely without any fear. We feed them pieces of bread and noticed that they were watching us. So, at some point, we were being watched. :D
They became friends so quickly, I guess they were friendly with kids.
This is a huge park and the park itself was wonderful too but we spend most of our time near the lakeshore. Many people were there but traffic was less than usual. The noticeable part was people mostly spend time near the lake rather than the park. Some were there with their dogs. My grandkids enjoyed the trip, they were running around and playing the whole time.
I had managed a moment for fishing, but no luck.
Some people came with Halloween things, it was pleasing to observe. We had a fabulous family time and we all appreciate that finally, we got a chance to get out of the town and relish the fresh environment.
