A lot of things happening at our home. The oldest lady we used to care for has been having serious heart issues. Oh, I forgot to mention, I and my wife, we both do social works. We have been taken care of 3 old ladies so far. We gave them shelter, food and take care of them so that they feel like they are at home. Our initial plan was to run an old-age home for those who don't have anywhere to go. They are alone and we thought to give them a home and a good life. We avoid those people who have chronic diseases because it's hard to take care of them. We also take them hospital for regular check-ups and do everything as much as possible. Basically, my wife does most of our work.
Anyway, the lady who has been having heart issues is on medications, seems like it is helping but we are keeping a follow-up on her health. Last year she has been diagnosed with a liver issue and now we don't know how long she has. Anyway, we all are praying for her long life but let's see.
I have been busy doing the balance sheet of the year. Basically, we are doing budget for our home and life and also making retirement plans. We are also thinking to invest our money so that we can get passive income which will be very helpful for our life. So, for now, we are looking for opportunities and while making a budget I have realized that it's hard to maintain diversity now for both of us. My daughter is helping me a lot and taking care of different things while I was doing the budget. It's a long process and I know it will take some time to figure and rearrange everything.
I have also finished work in our garden, we have got a lot of vegetables this year in summer. I am growing green herbs and some vegetables in my small greenhouse. I will show you when it is done. We have frozen some vegetables for winter as well and gave some to our neighbor. I am planning to go to finishing next week, I will have some free time. My wife and daughter will be at my son's place so I will have some free time for my hobby. Probably will invite my friend to join me and we will have some beer and fish BBQ.
Today I am going to share some food pictures. Last weekend we went to a restaurant for family lunch. The food was delicious. We mostly eat fish and chips but this time we had ordered the meal. My wife had a long week so she wanted to go somewhere nice.
We had ordered a seafood platter with fried rice, chicken sizzling (my daughter's favorite), and of course fish and chips. The restaurant was generous enough, they gave a nice amount of ketchup, mayonnaise, and bread for lunch. It was a good meal. My daughter took beef steak with mashed potatoes.
My daughter taught me how to take food photos, she always takes food photos. I am not good at it besides when foods are in front of me, I only think about eating, don't have time for taking pictures but this time my daughter forced me to take some photos. So I did it and it seems they turned out okay.
