Our viewpoints on homeless people

Today was declutter day, we had been working the whole day rearranging our home and found to declutter so much in home. While working on this matter, one thing came into my understanding and that is about being homeless. Before talking about my thought, I would like to inform you that we have been donating all the declutter stuff for the poor people for a very long time. We always think that our little contribution might help the poor people a lot.

Our life is different and we don't have time to think about others rather than our own issues. Sometimes I do walk alone, away from home just to stay disconnected from the present lifestyle. I always prefer quiet places especially woods though it's not possible always. It's not about avoiding or ignoring life, it's about finding a true soul and giving it a restart or fresh start. I know how it feels of being homeless, nobody really pays attention to them.

When you don't have a roof, you have nothing and when you lost everything, you are nothing. People might call you a junkie, sometimes you stave for the whole day but nobody cares. When winter comes, you have no clothes to wear, you have nowhere to go. You might end up either in a station or somewhere dark. To find little warmth you try hard to find a cozy space but you are a failure in the end. It's hard to think about those moments, we normally don't think about them. Why would we? We don't feel their pain, their struggle. When hunger chases you, you can't think, your brain stops thinking. And that's when people does mistakes often.

We love peace and we love interaction but somehow we often fail to understand the truth of people. Have you ever wondered why there is huge discrimination? Unfairness is everywhere wherever you see. Why do some people have so much money where others are starving? No answer right, some people call themselves successful because they earn money, they know how to earn money. But if someone is unable to obtain money or somehow loses everything in life, we call them either junkie or homeless.

But is not it our duty to help them? There is nothing wrong to help poor people. There are so many which are not necessary for us, but probably that can be helpful for someone. Perhaps our little help can change someone's life.

Why not start changing our mind and perspective today? Why not start bringing this small change in our society today? I am sure it won't take so much from you.
