My girlfriend got her septum pierced

My girl loves her piercings

@flowerbaby not only has several tattoos, but she is also pretty big into collecting piercings. I have zero piercings myself, but I definitely have my fair share of tattoos. One thing about tattoo artists is that sometimes they are difficult to work with when it comes to scheduling. They stay booked up, often are stuck checking their own messages and emails, plus don't have a boss telling them what to do. The same goes for piercers typically. These factors have made it incredibly difficult for @flowerbaby to get her septum done. Then add in the fact that a lot of places still aren't doing facial piercings due to the chaos that COVID has issued to our society.

@flowerbaby has had the mission to get her septum pierced for multiple months now. She even made attempts to make it happen while we were in St. Augustine, to no avail. This girl doesn't lose hope, the search continued.

I wasn't fully on board with the idea, but I also am not the controlling type. So of course I was willing to help her find a place to pierce her septum. If you are not familiar with piercings and human anatomy:

The septum is a thin wall of cartilage that runs down the center of your nose, separating your right and left nostrils.

While we were in Pennsylvania visiting my brother, we thought we could venture around and find a place to finally pierce @flowerbaby's septum. We had what seemed like the perfect location picked out, it was called the Gypsy Moth. That is totally a name that describes @flowerbaby. She has a gypsy soul and even has a moth tattoo on her thigh. This shop was walk-in only, so we made sure to get there just before they opened so we could be first in line.

It turns out that the tattoo/piercing shop was located inside of this nice shopping mall. The sign was really professional and from outside the window, the inside looked great too. They were set to open at noon, so we got there at 11:45 am. We waited until about 12:45, along with nearly a dozen other people who came out for a tattoo or piercing. Sadly, no workers ever showed up and we were forced to leave without getting her septum pierced yet again.

We rushed home after wasting about an hour of our morning. After our time spent outside of the Gypsy Moth, we were headed to the beer garden that I posted about yesterday. There wasn't any time left for us to search for another shop that day.

I felt bad for @flowerbaby, I could tell she was really let down about the whole situation. She got her hopes up (and nerves, piercings don't feel good {or so I hear}). I knew we had to try again Monday morning before we left PA and headed back home to WV.

Monday we got up early again and started driving around to the only shops in town that were supposedly open on Monday. For some reason, tattoo and piercing places love to be closed on Sunday and Monday.

The first shop that we walked into didn't do septum piercings but did everything else. So we struck out there. Then we stopped at another place that was supposed to be open, but they weren't. The same goes for the third location that we drove by, lights out. Something told us to go check out that second place again. It is a good thing that we did because finally, we got lucky and a worker was opening the place up as soon as we parked.

I walked in and talked to him briefly. He was a tatted-up and pierced Spanish fellow. A bit hard to understand due to his accent, but I knew right away that he understood what he was doing, plus he was super friendly. I can't even tell you what the shop was called, but he said to me that he could do it right then and there, so @flowerbaby was down.

The piercer did a fantastic job! Septums are really easy to mess up, so we lucked out huge with this dude. It cost $60. He gave @flowerbaby the option of gold or silver jewelry and she went with gold. I think she is the first girl I've known to have a golden septum jewel. I love it on her too! I should have known it would turn out well, she is such a babe after all. Just look how happy she is to finally have her nose piercing.

Thanks for checking out my blog 😎🤝

What do you think of @flowerbaby's new septum piercing? Show her some love, she is extremely confident with the results. I have a feeling that she will eventually be switching out that shiny gold with something even more unique and bejeweled. She can't do that until it has healed, so begins the delicate process.

It looks good on her. Now you need to get one to match. I’ve actually been thinking about getting some more piercings myself. I just have my ears gauged but would like to get my nipples done and probably my septum.

A girl can dream! I sure wish he would!! 😩😆

Maybe one day he will do it and see how fun they can be.

It’s a perfect fit for her, but I have zero desire to have any piercings myself. I LOVE looking at them on other people, just like tattoos. I enjoy wearing tattoos because it’s just my normal skin with art on it. I do not enjoy the thought of having things on my body pierced.

The idea of getting a piecing caught on something and ripped out has always been off putting to me. Plus piercings immediately give a person a weakness they otherwise wouldn’t have. Hear me out.. Imagine it’s life or death, I’d go straight to ripping out the piercings of my opponent. Immediate blood and pain. Most people can’t stand the sight of blood and it would be all said and done right then and there.

I know a life or death battle is a pretty unthinkable situation, but that’s just how I think. I am programmed to survive. I prepare far in advance for things that have slim chances of occurring.

I am curious to know more about why tribes are so into piercing. They aren’t doing it for cosmetic reasons alone.

I have read about how certain piercings match up with points on the body’s meridian points. Think acupuncture. Perhaps I’m missing out on possible upgrades by not having piercings.

This article is thought provoking: https://www.agentnateur.com/blogs/agent-tips/how-tattoos-and-piercings-have-an-effect-on-our-bodies-and-meridian-points

I can tell you from personal experience that in a situation like that, you won’t feel the piercing being ripped out. Some of us are just built different though. It’s all about mindset. I would want to get my nipples pierced just to see if I can handle it though. I probably wouldn’t keep them for too long cause I wouldn’t want them caught on my shirts.

Damn that sounds like total agony. I’ve put myself through painful situations and felt little to nothing, so I can see what you’re saying there. A certain percentage of people would tap out after something like a piercings gets ripped out. There are some ill-minded who can fight through pain with ease. There are so many factors to survival — Extra pain tolerance? Let’s give that fucker bad vision at 20! Thankfully my eyes shine bright, others not so lucky.

This dude is hard af 🕷

Tattoos and piercings are allright but I would like to comment about your footer image ^^ Hive or Die pretty creative and quite funny. I dont know you but this shows how colorful your personality is ^^

Thanks a lot! I made myself that last summer. I still love it. I am die hard for Hive, what can I say 🤪

She's beautiful before and after. Hope she likes it!

I know she was nervous about it, not as much as I was though 😜
When she was finished, she was smiling from ear to ear. I knew right away that she was satisfied. I too was pleased with the result. She sure rocks it well 🤩

@flowerbaby can you please go surprise my wife @ShinyCharizard with a follow, it'd make her feel real special! And hopefully she will write her intro post soon and you can be one of the first people to see it!

Sorry if this is weird, but she has her septum pierced too, and you seem like someone she'd like to be around! 😀

I love that idea!
Your wife has an awesome user name!

We look forward to her intro post. Just added her to my PeakD Favorites so that I can remember to shower her with a warm welcome once that intro post goes up.

I hope it'll be soon!

It's a full time job trying to get our women to post isn't it? My wife hasn't posted in almost two years now.

Haha! Yeah it's tough to break the ice!

Once every month or so it happens. I consider it a blessing from mother nature herself whenever I see a post from my girl 😂

Congratulations on the new piercing, it looks great on you. Your girlfriend is gorgeous, she radiates freshness with her smile.
But I also like the pictures you take of her sleeping hahaha she has to take revenge and take pictures of you sleeping hahaha
Best wishes to both of you!

Thank you very much.
I do need to catch her sleeping again soon. I'm glad she doesn't get mad at me for having a little fun.

She's beautiful, and it really fits on her indeed. I've recently met a girl on a party boat with septum piercing and although it sounds like a prejudice, it seems people with septum piercings are soooo wiggly and are spreading positive vibes. Great to see someone so happy :)

That is kind of you. I have known many people with septum piercings. Their personalities have varied quite a bit.

Yeah I'm aware that statement can't be true as piercings don't change people 🤣
I've just had 'luck' to meet such people. In the end the only thing that's important is the energy person is emitting, nothing else I guess.

I like a Lot this post and awesome piercing @flowerbaby

Septums are really easy to mess up....

@flowerbaby It looks great on you, you are a brave and strong woman, I can imagine that it hurts. Ayayay!

Loveee iiit!! I love all kind of piercings, but this one fits perfect in her gorgeous happy face, and the golden color matches with her hair.

I'm seriously thinking on having that same piercing too, although I already have the nostril, but I've seen several persons who have both and it looks AWESOME.
I usually smile a lot like Flowerbaby and it fits great with giggly people.

I'm so happy you finally made it after all that trouble and waiting you went through.
A big hug for my fav couple of Hive :D ❤️
