I think the most important thing is to just have fun with it! and if all else fails... whatever it is you are making... google the plating and have a look at some of the inspirations. Like if you are making roast chicken... search "plating roast chicken" or whatever.... but, you are welcome to shout if you need help hon... I am always here and would be happy to! xxx
I will try to do something and will try to improve my plating though I don't know. I personally feel plating is also an art and it represents the entire dish... I will definitely ping you if I need some help...
