A friendly greeting dear Hivers. It is quite a pleasure to be with you in this beautiful community. I want to tell you about one of the things I enjoy doing the most, when it comes to coffee. It's all about bringing hot coffee when I'm old. A few days ago, I went with my friend Johannel to teach her how to ride the bike. That afternoon was perfect for a motorcycle adventure, so we decided to hit the road and enjoy the cool breeze and scenery. We chose an old road not so far from home.
As we drove down the road, we stopped at a spot with a breathtaking view. We were a bit married, so we stopped for a break from the drive and the ascos. I pulled out my little steel thermos and poured two cups of hot coffee for both of us. The aroma of the coffee filled the air and made us feel even more calm and relaxed.
With each sip of coffee, our laughter filled the room. Johannel told me about her dreams and goals, and I listened attentively. The complicity between us grew with each passing minute. The sun was slowly falling on the horizon, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange. Usually when I go for a walk I like to take my small thermos of coffee with me, it is magical what coffee does with any situation. In the case of Johannel and I, it enlivens the conversation and gives any moment the touch of flavor that was so lacking, as it was perfect to look at.
In Venezuela it is very common to accompany a good chat between friends with a cup of coffee, if possible a full thermos. For that reason I like to think that coffee has the magic of bringing people together. The afternoon enveloped us as we continued chatting and laughing. The coffee was running out, but the complicity and friendship we shared remained intact. We stayed a while longer enjoying the view and the sunset before heading back home.
Actually, it was more like a coffee afternoon, to laugh and talk than a riding lesson. Even so, my friend had a beautiful approach to motorcycle riding and I felt very proud of her, for the big step she took, because it is not easy to dare to ride for the first time, let alone a motorcycle. When we got back we went home, where my beautiful and beloved @jetta.amaya was waiting for us with more coffee and delicious cookies and after sharing a little more I took her back to her house.
That afternoon of coffee, laughter and motorcycle with Johannel will remain in my memory as one of the most special. An afternoon in which friendship and complicity became even stronger, accompanied by a delicious coffee and a beautiful sunset in the middle of the road. I hope it will be repeated soon and that this time my friend will gain a little more confidence, until little by little she achieves it. But no doubt it will be another afternoon of coffee on the road. See you soon friends.
