As good coffee lovers, the preparation of coffee always ends up in jokes, anecdotes and some gossip. Although this post will not be specifically about the recipe for mocaccino with marshmallows, I want to tell you about the joy I experience with my friends.
After a successful Christmas dinner, so much fun and with abundant food that even we ourselves are surprised at the organization, the next day provoked us a well charged coffee to recover energy and continue our day of joy as a family.
From the burnt cookies (hahaha miscalculation with the oven) we had a lot of chocolate left over and that is why we went for the beautiful combination, and my favorite, the mocaccino. I admit I don't know where the marshmallows came from hahaha they just appeared on the kitchen table (I think my friend Maria's mom put them there).
We used “Good coffee”, its name says it all, this specific brand is a “yes” for sure, for the chocolate we used the St.Moritz brand, (that day I found out that this brand is Venezuelan hahaha it is too good and has a high cost I don't know why I associated that it was from somewhere else) to this I didn't take pictures because the box was a mess because of the cookies. While the chocolate was being prepared we were also cooking lunch and the combination of smells was quite particular hahaha. While one group was making lunch the other was preparing the hot drink, it is worth mentioning that we did not combine coffee with lunch hahaha, we drank the mocha before.
That kitchen simply became our podcast moment, each one told anecdotes and stories, we debated about Christmas decorations and that bitter chocolate is better than milk chocolate hahahahaha. I swear that between the laughter I could barely take pictures of the preparation and our tired faces from laughing and singing in the wee hours of the morning. The cold of the night caused allergies in more than one of us, so the hot drink helped enormously, both for the cold and for our tired throats.
I had never prepared coffee together before, it was funny and somewhat chaotic, but I enjoyed it at all times, not only the drink (which was divine) but the union that caused the preparation, this is when I see that coffee besides being an elixir also has the power to unite families and friends.
