Hello, good morning everyone. A coffee lover is always willing to try new flavors, and whenever I can, I acquire a sample of those that I find on the shelves of mini markets and supermarkets in the area.

But yesterday I was given a very large sample of a coffee that until now I had not had the pleasure of trying. It was San Domingo coffee, which I had already seen in the stores but had not dared to buy.

Ok, I don't know how good I am as a coffee taster, but guided by my coffee instinct, and my particular tastes, I have always liked smooth coffee, not as strong and strong as many people are used to drinking.

I belong to the llanera generation of the guayoyo, the one that has become famous for being prepared in a well-cured cloth strainer, with the little jar already tanned from so much coffee that has passed through it, and enjoying the rich aroma that it gives off as the boiled water makes contact with the coffee powder.

There are coffees that no matter how much guayoyo I prepare it, it is still strong. For my taste, it should not be so strong. The San Domingo Gourmet coffee passed the test of strong or mild coffees. It has a good flavor, it is smooth in the guayoyo style, it has a delicious aroma, but my palate is already accustomed to my daily favorite, and I stick with it.

Of course, when a coffee arrives to our hands as a gift, it is never despised, on the contrary, it is appreciated and enjoyed. I continue to savor this one, I can mix it with others as I usually do when I have a new coffee, and I will also enjoy it in delicious combinations for lattes, quesillos, and other recipes that I have pending to make such as tiramisu, and frapuccino.

I hope you enjoyed my post, thank you for visiting my blog, and it will be until a new opportunity where I will tell you other stories in the company of a good coffee. Happy Friday to all of you.

Thank you very much. 🌻✨
By far one of my favorite gifts to give to someone - can never go amiss with a nice new brand of coffee :)
You are right, for a coffee lover there is no better gift... and even better, to be able to get to know new brands. 😊🌻
I haven't had the chance to try it yet, but when I see it, I'll take it and try it myself, to experience it myself. I haven't tried Guayoyo in a while, I've been meaning to 🥰
Can't miss that cloth strainer for the guayoyo here, it's part of the kitchen, hahahaha... if you like your coffee smooth, you're going to love this one.✨☺️
Am Traditional is better, thanks for the recommendation, greetings ☕
