You know that it seems like the world is not doing well. The weather is very uncertain, during the day, the sun is very hot like burning the earth's surface, when I dry clothes, even dry in the house, all my clothes dry in a short time. However, when the night came, the rain soaked the whole earth, all my plants were wet without me watering again.
The effect of this hot weather has resulted in some people using it to burn forests for land clearing, usually this is done to simplify and save land clearing costs and this behavior is not very commendable. In the end, the surroundings of the forest burning area are affected by the dirty air, even causing shortness of breath.
Forest fires are currently happening in the area around Lake Toba, to be precise in Karo district. Looks like new land will be opened for resort construction. Lake Toba does have a beautiful view, so many tourists visit there and many people invest heavily in the construction of hotels and resorts.
But this is very bad, sacrificing many people for personal gain. Like there are no other activities to clear land, such as cutting down some trees (although this is also bad), at least not many lives are being risked due to suffocation due to the smoke from forest fires. Indeed, humans are greedy, only thinking about themselves.
I realized the air was so dirty when I wanted to go somewhere, I planned to get some fresh air because I was so bored at home. But finally I stopped in front of a coffee shop, because I couldn't stand the air outside. Even though I really wanted to go to the beach by drinking young coconut water. But, instead of having shortness of breath and making my eyes sting from traveling by motorbike in the midst of smoke and severe air pollution, I finally nurtured my desire and decided to enjoy the cold air with AC in a coffee shop while drinking coffee and enjoying unlimited wifi.
I was in a coffee shop not far from my house, I often passed by when I was on my way to my in-laws' house. The building is very sturdy, it looks like this coffee shop has several floors. On the 1st floor, there is a cashier's desk and a barista place to mix coffee, as well as a dessert showcase. At this table, we can order several coffee menus, many choices of coffee that you can order very easily. I ordered 1 glass of Haban Peanut Coffee which is the signature menu and 1 piece of brownie cheese lotus dessert.
I then chose the 2nd floor which has an AC room and also turned out to be my favorite place to work. They do provide this room for workspace as the main facility, so that visitors are comfortable, they are given several partitions so that if you want, you can have a meeting with your co-workers here. There is also a clean WC in the room.
My husband and I felt very free in the room, we could even watch youtube on a laptop with very fast internet. At least here I can avoid exposure to smoke and air pollution which is very detrimental to the body.
Not only is the room very comfortable and cold, the coffee they serve is also very good. With a sweet peanut butter taste mixed with bitter coffee, this coffee has a new taste for me. But it's a shame I mixed the sweet coffee with the sweet brownie too, I should have just ordered an americano so sweet meets bitter it would be perfect. But it's okay, even though I'm a little nauseous because it's too sweet, I can ease my anger from this air pollution. It really made me very upset and I just wanted to demonstrate to the government, so that this is followed up properly. Hurting a lot of people!

Beautiful coffee shop too bad it wasn't a good experience that choice of coffee I would have been thrilled with that super sweet cake for sure. Hope your next cafe is much nicer for you. 🤗☕

I just found out that the taste of coffee mixed with peanut butter has a unique taste, dense texture and crunchy on the tongue. There is a hint of saltiness mixed with the caramel sweetness of the peanut butter.
Good taste for a cup of coffee for 2 dollars, its worth it.
But, i dont think about the cake and coffee isnt a good idea.

The forest fire issue doesn't sound good to me. There are always fires in different parts of Canada every summer and it's never good. The coffee and cake look good though.
I don't understand what people who are cruel to such an environment think. They always think for their own benefit, but it is very dangerous for many people and the environment.

Chill in a cafe is always a good idea when the weather's not friendly. When I was young, I always did it with my ex which is my husband now. Hehe
its a good memory, but in the past, coffee shops not aesthetic then now, i think a lot of people make a interested coffee shop with aesthetic interior..
