Hello everyone,
Reality is sometimes not as beautiful as expectations, that's what happened this time. Starting from a suggestion from a post on social media, I became curious about one thing in this tourist area. This time I'm still talking about Singapore, but more than that, I want to tell you a lot about a very unique experience of queuing for a cup of coffee which went very viral on social media.
It might become very viral when Taylor Swift is currently holding a concert in Singapore where almost 50% of the audience comes from Indonesia. Since January, Singapore has continued to attract lots of tourists because of the Coldplay and Taylor Swift concerts, not just concerts, this has even made Singapore's economy higher because many things have been affected. One of them is culinary and retail.
The concert, which was held for days, was successful in bringing lots of foreign tourists to Singapore, making the economy spin and you know, that was huge. Plus, many people who are called 'influencers' make the country much in demand due to 'honest reviews'. I also became an easy target, one of the people who believed that sentence.
Let me tell you, I was stuck in a very long queue for a cup of coffee with chocolate topped with marshmallow topping torched with fire. Yes, I've wanted it since I found out what's interesting in Singapore right now. The limited food I can eat is an obstacle, but I'm interested in drinking coffee in Singapore. One of them is coffee at this bakery shop.
Being on Haji Lane, it wasn't difficult to search on Google Maps, and I found a long queue which actually really killed time for tourists who only have limited time like me. I joined in the queue because I was very curious about the taste. In my mind, 'How would a moccachino taste with marshmallow topping? And I've never tried that from all the coffee menus available'.
Full of curiosity and I volunteered my time queuing, finally it was my turn to get a cup from this favorite menu from 'The French American Bakery'. Even the cakes they sell are less famous than the marsmellow mocachino they have. I spent 30 minutes of my time standing and queuing. I got 1 cup for 8 SGD, for coffee at that price, it's really very expensive.
You can see from some of the photos I took, many people were queuing and even very close to their glass dividers. This fairly small merchant was very full of visitors, we were even restricted from going inside so as not to get too crowded and fight for air to breathe.
There are several cakes that they sell at standard prices in Singapore, even though they are very tempting, I don't have enough money to buy some cakes, besides, I'm on a sugar diet and I'm almost tormented by the urge to buy them. But I'm not sure about the taste, because very few people buy cake. I will go to one of the other bakery shops that are more famous here.
Honestly, I don't like the coffee a little because it's too sweet, it even makes it hard for my throat to swallow the last ½ cup. I thought it was too sweet from the marshmellow because I mixed and stirred everything. I didn't even taste a hint of coffee, I only felt 'pure sugar and marshmallow'. There is a slight bitter taste from the coffee and chocolate, but it doesn't make me want to repurchase it, but believe me, if you like sweets, then you need this.
Quite satisfied with drinking ½ cup of mocachino from The French American Bakery, I thought I should visit again to buy some croissants which made me very interested in terms of aesthetics, shape and variants they sell.
See you the next time hive friends!

Hi friend
I dont like a coffee with Mich sugar too. But the decoration is good. The cookies look tasty.
Regards @aswita
This coffee looks so aesthetic, doesn't it?
What a pity that after so much waiting the coffee did not meet your expectations. At least now you can tell about it based on your experience and you were able to take nice pictures.
Yes, that's enough for me to buy once, maybe if I'm with friends, I'll share 1 cup for two or even three.
I had not seen a type of coffee like the one you are showing us. I can imagine how much sweet it has, I really don't like sweet much, I only use a little. I really would have had a hard time drinking this coffee with marshmallows too.
Thanks for sharing your experience.☕
Good day.
AHAHAH I wasted my money on that cup of coffee and only drank half of it. I forced myself :D
That coffee certainly has an attractive aesthetic, but I don't like it sweet, it makes me sick. The cookies look great 🤤
It will definitely hurt your throat if you drink something too sweet. Maybe marshmallows don't have to go with that coffee.
On second thought, you are very right, thanks for the suggestion.
I like coffee with little sugar, how sad that you won't enjoy your coffee. Because it really looks great. Regards
It looks very appetizing, but it's too sweet, I even left the other 1/2 cup.
What a shame you didn't enjoy your coffee, it looks really delicious in the photo. I don't like them so sweet either, they lose their essence
I liked it but it was a little hard to drink another 1/2 cup. Very sweet, it's just that my tongue is hard to accept more sweetness.
Oh no. I wish the coffee was slight less sweeter so that you could have enjoyed it more. Nine the less it looked quite tempting in the photos ☺️
ahahah if it tasted sweeter, maybe it would be my favorite coffee :D
thankyou❤️
Coffee and 🍪 cookies are looking so delicious 😋
thats true :D
Yummy treats 😋
