The heat index is rising again this summer.
Previously, it even went up to 43 degree Celsius. Imagine going out in broad daylight and walking on the streets with that kind of temperature, you might even get sunburns when you get back home after doing your business outside. With this, I rather stay at home and cool down with the air-conditioner on max and sleep. But this time, I had to because I need to get my phone fixed and buy my little girl some presents for her Kindergarten Moving Up ceremony.
Our first stop was in 888 Chinatown Square to get my phone fixed. There are lots of phone stores inside with affordable services. You just gotta know which store have the best and trusted service because some are scams. In that matter, I often rely with any friend's good feedback, so I can be sure. At the ground floor of the building, there's one that was referred. They work fast and in just a few minutes, it's done.
The next stop would be for the gift supposedly, but only going from one mall to another already exhausted my energy from walking under the sun.
See that blinding sun over there? It might dry you after a minute of basking in the road.
So instead of going to the bookstore, we stopped by for a coffee, and then cool down first there at the food court of SM North Wing. Well, as the name goes of the coffee shop, it is BUT FIRST, COFFEE. As it should be, we should have done that first to have at least some counterpart for the scorching heat.
Not too late, though. Anytime is for coffee, and here we goes.
The Patata, Capybara and me sat down to have our orders taken here. A cup of Iced Caramel and Brown Sugar Coffee, but none for the Capybara hanging in my bag, of course. When we got it, we couldn't really tell the difference between them. I mean, which is which, ehhh?
However, we badly wanted something cool at the time, so we didn't got time to ask the barista about nor have time to complain. After all, it's still coffee, then why not, right? Just wanna sip and relax before we do the next errand here. And I'm sure, the capybara is still chill even though it couldn't drink the coffee next to it, so that's how it went.
Thereafter, we went straight to South Wing to buy gifts for my little one. And Mom requested specifically that it shouldn't be another toy. I guess they're fed up of all the toys cast aside in the corner of the house and then, there would be a new one again. So, this time, I bought her something that she could used for her studies, a MATH BOOK and some school supplies.
Anyway, thanks for checking out this blog. Have a great day!
