Good day my fellow coffee and beverage lovers! I hope you're having a great day.
Yesterday was a day of coffee and gifts. Having some time to decompress and share with friends is awesome. That those friends are Hivers too makes it even better.
The meeting was at Café Bracamonte. It is a place located in the heart of the city. It isn't the busiest place in Cumaná, but it has the calm needed for a café. And certainly a good choice for our mini meetup.
The place has grown since the last time I went there. It has a new area dedicated to food. They sell empanadas, hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches and more. So, it could be called a Café and Lunch site. That could mean they business is doing well.
One of our friends was on a strike in front of the Government Palace. That's close by the café. She met us after protesting for some money owed to some workers. 10,000 worked are owed their wages and bonifications.
We seem to have a lot of stuff to worry about money. But while we put all problems aside and talk about lone and share coffee. Our meeting was due since October and it's a good thing it happened now. That way I could bring them some gifts. The Christmas stickers a lot of you might know already.
Those envelopes were a nice touch to make it more elegant.
Only one of us didn't order. She was feeling a bit sick and didn't want to risk having an urgency while being there. So it was 2 mokaccinos and a traditional drink from Venezuela called "chicha". The latter is a rice-based sweet drink that usually has sweetened milk and cinnamon. But you can see it has a lot more.
The coffees are bigger than I remember. That cup is 3.5$. It has a nice balance of flavors, so much you can drink it without adding any sugar. That always a good thing. Besides, the chocolate they use for it is already quite sweet.
And as we were having sips of our coffees and talking about our future projects on Hive and real life, it so happened I got some texts form a friend who was intrigued by the number of Hivers in town. So I invited her over and gave her a quick summary of the deal with our Blockchain.

She was so kind as to give me a very good photo of herself for this post. And she even stayed after I left and had some more photos with the girls.
It is awesome how a coffee date can turn into a new Hiver coming to the platform. That's just great! I might implement this tactic to bring more value to Hive. There's a lot of talent that could help promote the Blockchain in town.
And as the year is coming to close and we look at the challenges that will arise next year, going for a coffee is still one of those great activities to share with friends and get to add some other friends to projects like this.
I didn't go to many cafés this year, hut o vet my new year will bring a lot of coffee on my table and cups shared with friends old and new. And of course, more content for the caffeinated community of Hive!

I just drink black coffee and no sugar on a regular basis. Having these are like a treat. Ha, ha, ha, and having all these beautiful ladies of Hive to share some time makes it even better.

I like back coffee and tea without anything. Maybe I'm just weird like that. And nah, I was just delivering some stuffs all those ladies around the table are married and some have kids. Besides, they are pretty good Hivers from town. 🤣

It's great that you have a lot of friends who are also hivers in your town. I'm also working on that, currently onboarder my two friends here. They aren't much of a coffee lover like me but they love writing.
Well, the good thing is that any kind of artist thrives in have of they have discipline. Hope your two friends come to stick.

Next time I'll have the coffee, it really looked so good and with those drawings on the foam it looked more tempting.
It was a good time we spent together, the place was very nice, with excellent attention, it was a good choice.
Besides, it was easier for me to leave the concentration with my colleagues and then spend a different time with you.
