On the last day of my vacations in Caracas, I took some time to walk over the Sabana Grande's Boulevard and watch some things and look for some others. I found the La Poma, which used to be a really famous spot to get some ice cream. It used to have long lines of people waiting to get their cones and other things. Nowadays, not so many get in the place and it looks battered by time. After this, I received a text from @maryed. She was checking out if I was already getting ready for the last things to do in the city. And since I didn't have breakfast, I invited her to Paramo to get some coffee. So in the end, I did have a little coffee date.
We met up at her favorite Paramo located in Chacao near the the San Ignacio mall. Since she had already had breakfast due to an early medical appointment, I bought her some of her beloved banana cake. I had a cup of coffee and a pastrami and cheese puff pastry. Then, we sat down. I took the chance to take some photos at the decorations and other thing in the place. And we just sat to talk about what we have done and making plans for the future. It was also a gossip session. And as she showed me on her phone, she was posting on Liketu. That was a funny gesture. She did that because I'm a posting machine.
And some of the main ideas we went through were about having some extra activities in the itinerary next time. For example, some physical activities like trekking or jumping from a bridge. Those options are note in my brain for my next trip to the capital. This coffee came as a nice closing chapter to the whole deal of going to places my friends wanted to show because they like to spend time there.
However, the most important thing was just having the time to spend with Mary. And there we were again talking like we had been friends for at least a decade. I learned some things about her job and some other stuff. And all of this came by having some coffee and something to eat at one of her favorite places. And I can tell by just having been there twice why she likes it so much. The place is cozy. It's clean. The attention is good. It is close to the subway. And there are some other places to go shopping and just have a walk.
Then, as time went by, we got out and walked over to the Sambil to get to watch some other stuff. In a book store that day, we plotted to get @madefrance a Christmas gift. Just the kind of ideas that having a coffee pushes you to do. That and also having the company of such a lovely friend.

I'm afraid I've been forgetting to properly follow your posts lately. My coffee today will be hasty instant coffee instead of a properly brewed cup, to say nothing of a nice shop and company, LOL!
Ha, ha, ha. No worries. Well, I hope it was at least some good quality instant coffee if such a thing exists.
Ha, no, it was the cheapest store brand I found.
Well, it can't all be good! 🤣
Qué bella soy, esa camisa me sienta muy bien jajaja. El ultimo café hasta Marzo 🥺. Regresaaaaa, Bertrayo.
