It's the realization of something my mom had a lot of time wanting to do. Now she has bought it, a moka pot. You know the thing. It is this kind of pot that is specifically designed for making coffee. But to be more specific, to make espresso. You know the kind of concentrated coffee.
She bought it on Tuesday and she was all excited after coming for me. I was at music classes. I don't remember for how long she wanted to buy this. There had been previous chances of doing such, but she didn't like the models. So, I'm happy she got one she liked.
This pot is for 6 espresso shots. So it is actually small. It might be good for 2 regular size cups. However, we drink coffee in mug, so it won't fill any of them. That's a bad thing. Anyways, it is for espresso. And that is something we should drink in small quantities.
We are Venezuelans and coffee is a very common thing from early on in life. I guess that's why people also drink too much. In most cases, we drink strong coffee. And coffee made from moka pots is exactly the kind of thing for those caffeine needs.
As you can see this one came with all its gadgets and ready to use.
I asked if she had taken it out for a test run and she told me she had, but she didn't like the amount of coffee it makes. I guess nothing is perfect. I believe there are bigger pots in the market, but they might not be available in town.
Anyways, I still need to give this a test run for myself. Getting the full 6 shots of espresso in one cup and having a caffeine rush to see what happens. If you don't read me again, you know what happened. I got trapped into a 10x-speed experience just like Fry in Futurama after 100 cups of coffee. So, I'll try to leave you a message.
For now, enjoy the new pot in the kitchen. I might be the one that ends up using this more often than mom.

The coffee maker is very nice. The model is very harmonious and fits in any corner of the kitchen. The most important thing is that it prepares a delicious coffee to enjoy with friends and family.
