Working With The Sanremo Cube Coffee Machine

in Cinnamon Cup Coffee2 years ago (edited)

I started getting a hands on experience working with the Coffee Machine at my work place during my supposedly free time 😂.

So the farm is equipped with a Sanremo Cube R Coffee Machine which is a pretty neat compact, elegant and powerful machine that costs a whopping Rs 201,141 ($ 2,465)

It has a 1.9L heat exchanger broiler and a 1.8L internal water tank and another benefit of this machine is that its a smart machine, meaning you can connect it to your mobile devices and turn the machine on/off, you can Set-up the boiler temperature, Manage the water tank level and do other things as well.

This machine also comes with a single and double porta filter, IMS competition Basket for the Portafilter (7g,16g,18g,20g), a metal tamper, 500ml milk jug and a microfiber cleaning cloth.

So if you are a beginner I would really suggest going for the Sanremo Cube A you as it is the most affordable line of coffee machines that you can find for a beginner. I mentioned it's affordable with comparison to other machines in the market that cost way above 3L 😂

For this machine we use two type of beans, The first one is an Espresso Blend which is called Bambaram and the other is a Filter Coffee blend which is called Margazhi.

We have two different grinders for the beans that we use which is set to its respective grind size. The Fiorenzato F64 Evo is set to a Coarse grind for the Margazhi Beans and the Pro Barista G-IOTA is set to a finer grind size for the Bambaram beans.

For an Espresso I start off by measuring 18g of the Bambaram beans using a Time More precision scale, I then grind them and fill them in the Portafilter.

Next I use a coffee distribution tool which evenly distributes the coffee grinds in the Portafilter. Once that's done i use Coffee tamper which is a tool used to pack the grounds evenly in a tight compressed cake for a quality shot.

Now comes the best part where you attach the portafilter into the machine and extract you beautiful shot of coffee. I do a 35-38 second extraction which gives me a clean and beautiful double shot espresso.

Ain,t That Beautiful 😭❤️

Sounds simple right ? but trust me it's not simple at all, so your shot of espresso completely depends on what the grind size you use and how much do you tamp it and what pressure do you use during tamping

There are several other factors as well that play an important role in getting a perfect shot such as humidity, room temperatures, How fresh the beans used are etc.

Every morning I spend about 30 minutes to recalibrate the grinders to get that perfect standard shot of espresso, sometimes it fun and sometimes it's super annoying 😂 but in the end it's totally worth it.

That cube machine is super fancy looking. I like the design of it. It's sort of futuristic and sort of 1950's style at the same time - somehow lol. Very cool though.

Haha, Come To Think Of It, It Does Have Those Vintage Vibes As Well.

This machine sounds really amazing, capable of making fantastic coffees, I really loved your publication, the description of each thing to do depending on the coffee you want, really understood perfectly, even so I would not dare to make one XD, because as you say, it sounds easy, but it is not, I congratulate you for taking the time to make this publication, see you soon.

Thanks A Lot, If You Love Coffee And Someday You Get To Experience Using A Proper Coffee Machine, Then Just Go For It, The Experience Is Lit 🔥
