week #108/ Meet Cafe Rocío

Today I went out to run some personal errands and while browsing through avenues and stores in my city, I stumbled upon this café. At first, I was not sure if it was indeed a coffee shop, so after passing by, something told me to go back and make sure if it was a coffee shop, because at the entrance it had other items that threw me off, such as all kinds of spices and corn; but when I looked closer and peeked I could distinguish that it was indeed a coffee shop, this caught my attention, because apart from all this, it had a nice furniture well arranged to taste a delicious coffee.

Upon entering at once the barista, who was at the entrance of the place, was at my service offering me his services. I could also see the different types of coffee and their prices, which seemed to me to be quite accessible, very supportive; I could also observe that next to the machine where the coffee is prepared there were some cakes and cookies, in case I wanted to accompany my coffee. Right next to it I saw a fridge with other drinks such as soft drinks and water; another alternative were different infusions of chamomile, hibiscus flower, cayenne and roses, malohillo and valerian, which are very good for relaxation and even for different physical ailments. I found that very interesting.

I noticed all this menu on a sign at the entrance, where they also offered breakfast. So it is a very versatile coffee, which I liked, because not all of us drink coffee. So, in a coffee shop like this, you can opt for other alternatives in any situation. But since I came in for the coffee, I ordered my usual coffee with milk and I was pleasantly surprised, because the barista very kindly assured me that I would not regret trying his coffee, and so it was. The first thing was the excellent presentation, besides, along with the coffee, he gave me a delicious cookie to go with it, that made me feel special, pleasant.

But when I tasted the coffee, it was the best, because it was just right, very tasty indeed. While I was drinking my coffee, I took the opportunity to talk to the owners of the place and take pictures, so I could share with you this coffee so original and that, undoubtedly, makes it stand out from many coffee shops I have visited. One of the characteristics that make it so original apart from everything else is its decoration; minimalist with its simple wooden furniture, but at the same time with other antique furniture in its different spaces and at the same time combined with the modern in its lighting and colors, every detail is well arranged.

Among all the things that were exhibited for sale to the public, you could see old typewriters, old record players, dolls, all very well mixed giving it a very creative touch, that encouraged me a lot, because the beauty and order reigned throughout the cafe; that is another point in its favor, another thing that makes me want to visit them again is the kindness of all its staff. So, my friends, it is with great pleasure that I present to you Café Rocio, located in my city Caracas, Venezuela.

This is my participation in The Coffee Shop Prompt | Week 108: Mar 13 - 19, greetings!

How nice this coffee shop concept. Here in Maracay I visited one like this but the one you show us is very nice in its decoration and in the presentation of the coffee. I liked the pictures, they give us an idea of the place. When I go to Caracas I would like to visit it.
