Me and my Cup of Coffee for 2025

☕️ "When for some reason I cannot drink coffee, I feel that I am missing something and I feel bad all of a sudden and it is hard for me to resume my day.
And when for any reason, illness or diet, I have been conditioned not to drink it, which thank God, have not been for long periods when I have resumed my routine with my adored coffee, even if it is perhaps for fewer cups per day." @brujita18

Rituals with coffee

☕️ "The cousin would wait for midnight to arrive to start writing. With a nice calligraphy, she would fill the sheet of onion paper. Sometimes it took her until dawn because it was very easy for the fountain pen to spill some of the ink, and if that happened, the cousin would start over again. Those letters were not supposed to have any crossings out.
On New Year's Day, a little before midnight, the cousin would look for the previous year's letter, read it silently and then burn it in a candle. She would take the new letter and hide it in a place where she was sure no one could find it. The contents of those letters were a secret that the cousin never confided to anyone." @irvinc

I will never give up coffee

☕️ "I still have to change my bed and upholster the furniture, which is what I have between my eyebrows, for next year and I know that if I get organized I will achieve it.

But never, never has it ever crossed my mind to make a resolution about coffee, the most radical of which would be to stop drinking it, something that I don't think will happen, (first dead), but if I had to choose for some reason, without a doubt I would continue drinking coffee, because we are all going to die sooner or later and I believe that we have to give or allow ourselves some tastes and pleasures, obviously with measure and responsibility, it is not about living a crazy life either." @actioncats

Coffee a tradition that my family keeps

Well, very few and therefore we feel special and strangely blessed, as if in that same daily personal rite we were anointed in some way and today it has become something that we treasure as fabulous and unique. Optimism, New Year, and coffee

☕️ "After much suffering, December arrived. On the last day of the year, I was at the door of my house, and I suffered from not being able to drink coffee. My mother made empanadas with the delicious flavour that everyone loves. The plates of empanadas and the cups of coffee came and went, and I looked at them like a prisoner looks at the street longing for freedom." @rinconpoetico7
