I totally agree with that statement, meeting up for coffee is just an invitation to talk, whether you actually drink the coffee or not hahaha. I'm a coffee fanatic and I even think I drink more than I should, especially at home.
I've rarely gone out for coffee with anyone, but I always greet all my visitors with a cup of coffee. But recently, when I wanted to entertain some friends, I thought of inviting them over for what we call 'coffee with friends'. It has been wonderful and, although it is so simple, it has warmed a few little hearts and I may write one or more posts about it soon.
Yes, I have friends who don't drink coffee, but for me coffee is simply getting together to have meaningful conversations and a good time. But I have to admit that those who don't drink coffee are strange people, hahaha 😜, but "in the vineyard of the Lord there is everything"😇.
"There's nothing better than the smell of coffee in the morning, that's why mornings have an aroma and for me it's the delicious aroma of coffee" (words from my heart❤️).
I don't know if I'm looking at this wrong, but I was looking for another post to comment on and I didn't find any, so was I the first or am I the only one?
☕Coffee with pistachio, a delight 🤭
Coffee invitations with our good friends are better. It would make us talk even more and know them even better.
Yes, they are the perfect excuse for a good conversation 🤗🥰☕🌸❤️.
Wow I was impressed with that pistachio coffee, it's the first time I've seen it and I was intrigued how it will taste. 🤔
The truth is that it is quite tasty, they put a pistachio cream at the bottom, but the truth is that the tastiest part is on the edge. It is a characteristic coffee of this particular coffee shop, but it is possible that it can be found in other places 😅🌸☕.
It must be difficult to share with people who don't like coffee. But well, it's all customary.
That pistachio coffee looks great....
☕💜
It's fun to spend time with friends, even if they don't share our tastes. These are moments that take us out of the routine and make us feel great.
I leave you a cup of coffee for this day.☕
It is certainly so, coffee is simply an excuse. How delicious a hot coffee in the morning, I can even smell it 😜☕🌸. Thank you!!
I love that pistachio ring. Yum-yum! I'm savoring it; I've used several kinds of nuts when preparing vegetable milk and pastries for my coffee, but I've never added pistachios I'm my latte. Looks so tempting!
To be honest, I don't know anyone who doesn't drink coffee and for me this is a relief because a coffee is a symbol of connection, meeting point and companion on good and bad days.
The first dates with my husband were in a coffee shop. A meeting with friends, with my sisters, with my mom all lead us to the same path: a good coffee.
I have not met the person who would refuse me an invitation for coffee. So I don't know what my reaction would be. 🤭.
Coffee is so special that it can even be used for love dates 😊 it really is a magical drink, I would say, because of everything it involves.
Those butterflies in the stomach and the nerves of holding hands for the first time go very well with a good coffee. 🤭☕☕💜
What a cute meet-up you had with your husband. Glad you all have the same connections with one another.
We still have those coffee shop getaways.... But nothing nicer than sharing the first coffee of the day at our home after more than 11 years since that first date ☺️💜☕
How cute 😊
Oooh?! I'm surprised. Coffee must be more popular in your "domains" hehe. I'm a little envious 😜 I do know a good bunch of people who won't drink coffee even if it was your treat. And I know others who would only have a creamy, well sweetened latte. But I do know for a fact that all of my true friends love coffee in their own way.
A few days ago talking with other hivers we came to the conclusion that there are more of us who love coffee 🤭.... I always have tea and juices at home in case someone doesn't want to share a delicious coffee at snack time. Hopefully I don't have to use them ...
Excellent Sunday of conversation coffee lovers.
Today I come with my participation in the conversation of the week of our beloved coffee group.
In my life I have had many friends, each with their own unique way of being and tastes that make them different from each other. I have gotten along well with all of them, but I must admit that there are deeper connections with those who share our tastes. Coffee is a clear example of what I am saying.
With my friends who drink coffee there is a tendency to go out and share much more than with those who don't like to drink coffee. With those friends who do not like to drink coffee we have a good relationship that has not influenced our friendship and of course with those who love coffee, I could say that we spend more time together and if it is with a delicious cup of coffee, the time becomes almost infinite. Haha😎
I hope to continue reading you in the comments.👀
I wish you all an excellent start of the week with lots of coffee.☕
Yes, true, we spend a lot of time together with friends who go along with us and have the same preferences as us.
Recently, a good friend of mine and I organized a small get-together at a very nice Parisian style cafe near our house. The expenses would be covered by her and me, so it wasn't an a la carte invitation hahaha. But we were surprised that for various reasons, especially health reasons or because of the time of the afternoon and some sleep problems, some preferred not to have coffee or hot chocolate, which was one of the other options we made available to them. But on the spot, they were offered the option of enjoying some tea or tea. Well voala, these girls felt like royalty (because it is not so common to meet for tea in our country Venezuela), while the rest of us enjoyed our coffee, they were at tea time, they felt pampered and loved. We all enjoyed our different drinks, along with an exquisite slice of orange cake. This was our first installment ☕🌸❤️🤗🥰
Definitely, something to have in mind. Though a taste for coffee is not enough to hold two or more people together, it is enough to have them share a good deal of ideas, as coffee usually comes with a conversation 😌☕
Hey, coffee friends who do love drinking coffee!
Hope your weekend has been nice 🙃
You know, I used to think that rejecting someone because they don't like coffee was silly, but over the years, I've come to realize that there's something about the personality of those non-coffee drinkers that makes me want to call them less often, see them less and less often, be with them less and less and less often, in general, hehe. This is humanly low, haha.
I have no problem with those people who tell me, “I don't drink” (meaning alcoholic beverages, of course), but when they don't drink coffee, well, ah. At first, this doesn't generate any kind of rejection on my part, I swear; in fact, I can't say that I've ever experienced anything resembling rejection towards them, like something visceral or anything like that. But eventually, they are out of my closest circles. Looking for non coffee drinkers there? You won't see them. There aren't any.
Does this happen to you too?
Well, I don't have friends who are not coffee lovers because we usually meet at coffee shops and all of us love to be caffeinated. We see less but we talk more over coffee shops. But if I do have friends which do not drinks coffee, I will still respect them but it's not easy to find a place to meet them because usually coffee shops are better having long conversations.
That's funny because I just realized that I meet my friends at coffee shops as well, 90% of the time. Some other times I meet them at home for lunch or dinner, and coffee if course 😌
I think you're right, there's like some implicit license to hold longer conversations at coffee shops 🤔
Hi @marlyncabrera. I think that people who don't drink coffee, except for those who do it not for pleasure but for necessity, seem to me to be strange people hahaha. But drinking coffee more than an action in itself is an invitation to a pleasant conversation, even if it seems incredible with or without coffee hahaha. If you don't drink coffee, I drink it, but at least you must like to talk, otherwise, that excludes you from my circle of friends 😜.
Oh, I know people who won't have another cup of coffee during the day because they had already had theirs earlier that morning. Nonsense! Hehe.
Tolerance is gold 😁 I don't know if I handle that well. I guess I only get together with people like that once and it's over.
I think you are a bit radical with your friends 😃 either they drink coffee or they are not in your circle. It's as simple as that 😜 Regards @marlyncabrera
Radical? I guess so. Life will teach me if I'm wrong 🤭😂
Have a wonderful week, dear @alborhada ☕
We are human beings who seek to be with people with the same interests to have a connection and do things together. We can say that we form social niches.
What a lovely photo of the coffee and your kitty.🐈
I leave you a cup of coffee for this day.☕
Oh, totally. We're always looking for people's thoughts and feelings to resonate with ours, I believe.
Horacia is sleepy, but she says hi!
🤭🤭☕ that your friends don't find out that you don't love coffee 🤭🤭☕.
It happens to me too, I don't know if it's unconscious or it's something I haho without realizing it, but I don't have friends who don't like coffee . I hope it stays that way because I don't know how I should behave with them ....
A hug and I hope you enjoy your coffee with that good company.
Thank you, friend. Some of the best company you can get in this crazy world 😸 That's masala chai in my cup, btw.
So far, I don't have friends who do not drink coffee. Some will still have a zip of mild coffee flavors but at least they do taste it. It's better to invite our friends over coffee and enjoy not just only our cup of coffee but with long conversations and updates about life. It's not easy to invite friends who do not enjoy coffee smells but if I do have friends who do not want coffee, well I should respect his/her preferences but at least he/she will accompany us when friends get together. Enjoy your cup of coffee, my dear friends. Have a nice day! Leaving you with a cup of coffee. 😊
We are complex people, a different world if you want and we do not always find people with our same tastes and it is respectable because that makes us unique.
I leave you a cup of coffee for this sunday.☕
True, we are unique. Whatever the preferences of our friends, we should give them the respect.
With that super cup of coffee I think you'll have a great time chatting with your friends 👍🏻
Thank you so much for appreciating. A cup of coffee with good friends makes our day so good to enjoy.
🤭🤣🤣
I totally identify with your comment. I love sharing with friends, talking about everything over a good cup of coffee ♥️
There are few of my friends who do not drink coffee, two co-workers and my brother's wife, but I sincerely believe that they miss the most fun get-togethers, plus I always have delicious desserts to brighten the day.
Where there is coffee there is always something interesting to talk about, what do you think? ☕
What a delicious pair of desserts with you. Enjoy your cup of coffee my friend.
Well, any topic is interesting if the interlocutors have something substantive to contribute--or ask--; I believe that a coffee session helps us to explore the inner world of our interlocutors or at least it helps us to assess an idea of how much they're willing to give of themselves in a friendly and caffeinated discussion 🤔
