Unlike you, I need complete silence to write. I actually admire you for being able to mute the external noise, maybe this can happen over time with enough practice.

I know that you like to move, to not sit still. I think you would have been a great park ranger , someone fit for hiking, walking and surveilling the area. And on top of it all, to also have a great gun at your disposal.

It's a skill one can learn and acquire. I go through pretty much my entire existence blocking other humans and their noise and negativity out and it works really well for me. I don't mind silence when I write either, although a lot of the time I have music playing as life without music doesn't work well for me.

Ah I wish I could pick your brain and see how you manage to do this lol. I find noise disturbing, we are wired very differently

One must find a reason compelling enough to allow greater focus. People do it all the time when they get lost in that endless scroll on Facebook and then realise they just lost an hour of their life feeding themselves negativity and propaganda.

It's like that, but more wholesome and productive.

It's really just discipline...And people don't have much of that these days.
