Hello, friends!
It was tea time that Sunday, i wanted to have something to drink.... but i thought that was too late for me to have some coffee that day because i usually have coffee in the morning to boost my energy, while if i had it too late, i usually had too much energy so i couldn't easily fell asleep at night. So instead of coffee, that time i tried something different.
Luckily i found this stall. Located in a food court, it named Teh Tarik Uncle G.
When i read about this name, i suddenly knew what i want to have that time, teh tarik (pulled tea) because recently i never had it so it was the time to have it again and i was glad because it was one of my favorite drink.
Well, this stall didn't have many kind of menu. It only had this menu on their little board.
They had value set meals which contained choices of toast, half boiled egg and drink. They also had perfect match which contained kind of toast and drink.
For the choices of toast, they had signature kaya butter (well maybe i should try this next time), traditional (butter and sugar), chocolate, peanut butter, strawberry, milo, coffee butter and ham & cheese. For the small bites they had half boiled egg, french fries, french fries with sausages, seasoned fried cassava, cireng, kaya fried banana, kaya fried fermented cassava and also fritter set (weirdly they put the set here instead of their packages part).
For the beverages, they had teh tarik (pulled tea), grass jelly pulled tea, pulled coffee, grass jelly pulled coffee, coffee O, coffee C, ice cream coffee, yuan yang, pulled chocolate, uncle G chocolate, matcha, passion fruit soda, liang tea, soya and grass jelly soya.
After had ordered and paid, then we took our seats. Eventhough it was located in the food court, but still the food court was not crowded with the bright yellow light, some sofas and wooden chairs. Clean and neat, this food court surely a nice place to spend our tea time.
Not a long time, the nice seller (who was only alone in the stall) delivered our order. He quickly went back to his stall after had delivered our order.
And what we got were two beverages and a bag of food, well what were them?
Now let me talk about what we ordered
For the drink, what i had
PULLED TEA
This was my first time asking my pulled tea hot. The pulled tea named pulled because it contained condensed milk that pulled until it frothy and sweet (i am sorry because i couldn't take any pictures while the seller made it, he made it so fast). Well actually this pulled tea consisted boiled black tea, evaporated creamer and also condensed milk. The pulled tea had a bit creamy texture with sweet and bitter natural tea flavour. I could smell the tea well, it tasted and smelled so good. Let me say to you that i loved this tea and having it warm, made a different sensation to me too.
This time, my boyfriend ordered coffee that i also tried
COFFEE O
While my tea riched with creamery and milk, this coffee o was just black coffee. Served without any sugar, this coffee tasted medium bitter and didn't taste sour which was tasted good too. But i am not used to it actually, it's not my thind and i prefer modern coffee ones.
For the food, i packaged my tea to this toast
CHOCOLATE TOAST
Their toast was really crunchy so that we couldn't taste the softness of the bread. It was thin and had chocolate filling. The chocolate was medium sweet. It was quite well and even better if it wasn't too crunchy.
Hmmh, i think they had cool tasty pulled tea that you should try!
