Saving private Ryan(s)!

Aside from loving coffee, I did not consider admiring cafes much, which made me evidently miss all those appreciable interiors and emotions that could be experienced while having a coffee in a cafe.
Then that one time, I decided to read a book at a cafe while having a coffee, I realized how amazing that is and since then, even if I am in a rush, I would at least take a look around the cafe, and decide if I want to have a special time next time when not busy.

As for the majority of the time, money is a big deal here, because in our country, coffee is rather an expensive beverage. Not to mention, if you have a sensitive tongue for delightful taste and can discern delicacy with slightest changes in it, enjoying a nice coffee at a cafe is rather expensive here. I also have the inclination of not desiring change once I find my comfort somewhere frequently for the sake of "checking out new cafes for fun" concept. Which is why, most of the time, once I find a comforting cafe, I would end up going there again and again whenever I can.

I have heard lots of fascinating praises both about the cafe and coffee of North End, Gloria Jeans, however, felt like those places are unnecessarily expensive for a coffee. But then, in a deserted place like Ukhiya, where half of the lands are jungles and non-inhabitants for people, where finding a good meal is almost impossible and so back-dated of a place, North End opened a branch to save our soul and as a reward of our redemption!!

Perhaps they know, due to the refugee influx, there will be lots of international staff around, they made some good efforts to organize the place regardless of its location. Though it is small for a cafe, but for the smoking folks, the terrace/ rooftop place is rather fancy to sit and enjoy coffee.
After working tirelessly all day long, going back and forth to rough, uneven, bumpy roads inside the refugee camps, walking through all dirt and mud, spending some hours on the cafe rooftop with coffee and smoke, along with or without company was one of the best parts of working as a humanitarian worker.

After both physically and mentally exhausting days, particularly on the last evening of weekdays, right before the weekend start, spending the evening in that very rather reserved, conservative area, in a proper, relaxed environment was almost like a point to tick in the bucket list.

If one has not experienced on their own, it is rather difficult to explain how comforting, healthy a cafe can be for a tired soul!
