Hello coffee friends, I invite you to fly by my side on a new adventure full of emotions while we have a nice cup of coffee.
I would like to invite to participate @crisch23
Where dreams are reborn
The last few months were not good, the economy crushed our expectations of being able to consolidate an independent business, making all the business attempts that with years of effort, love, and dedication we as a couple managed to install go bankrupt. However, of those ventures and despite the bad experience some capital remained available, thanks to the fact that we made the necessary decisions in time, now we are in a kind of limbo from which we can only get rid of with the same technique we have always used, dreaming.
This morning as usual, I prepare the coffee with the brewing technique that fascinates me so much and that, somehow, comforts me with its aroma amid so much anxiety, next to me, my faithful companion of life leafs through the newspaper with a visible face of concern, before the imperious need to find a new way to generate income. As if by magic, the page of economic reports arrives in my hands, it talks about how the coffee sector has become one of the pillars of the new era of production in the country, recovering spaces that for years were abandoned.
Like a spark, once again coffee illuminated my life, and that is how the idea of buying a piece of land to start a coffee brand came to me, returning to the roots of our families. Growing coffee is something I grew up with as well as my partner, that is why we did not hesitate to launch an expedition adventure almost immediately, to look for fertile lands in the towns we knew, from where we could form a brand of coffee, with a quality bean that would allow us in a short time to obtain the certification of origin.
With the help of our cousin Walter, who lives in the area, we designed a tour of several abandoned farms that were for sale. As soon as dawn broke over the coastal mountain range, we were already on our way to the agricultural region. With the characteristic cold of these hours that almost made us shiver, only hot coffee, made with firewood by the indigenous people at a roadside inn, gave us the courage to continue.
While we stopped to enjoy this handmade delicacy, dreams came into focus in our eyes and joy came again, knowing that we had finally found a way to move forward, putting in it the greatest of hopes.
It was almost 9 a.m., when we arrived at the first house where cousin Walter was waiting for us, ready with my high leather boots and the right equipment, the adventure began by touring these magical lands where I grew up, remembering the advice my grandfather always gave me, about what were the best things to keep in mind to make a good crop.
The first hectare we visited was not at all what we wanted, its low position warned us that surely in times of rain, the river would flood it, making difficult the crop we wanted, so we discarded it and proceeded to the next place, a hill with a fairly steep slope, but that had the right temporary shade trees for the crop to work, however, my partner did not like it, because when analyzing it he realized that it would be a real problem to bring water there and be able to irrigate the plants in times of drought.
So we went from farm to farm, all of them were abandoned for one reason or another that made them unviable, it seemed more and more difficult to find the right land to plant our seed and with them the dreams of blooming again. Sadness and despair overwhelmed our hearts for a few minutes and trying not to let my companion realize the failure of this journey that was taking us back to the starting point, I decided to walk a few meters away in solitude to cry in silence, I walked in an unknown direction without knowing exactly how far away I was until I was almost lost and bewildered in the middle of a large expanse of vegetation.
The smell of damp earth comforted me, taking me on a trip to the past that allowed me to experience the goodness of a special place, very slowly the enthusiasm returned to my mind, the more I went into this land that seemed to have all the conditions I was looking for, among the large trees, small plants of an exotic coffee grew by themselves, showing a deep red fruit been that just by holding it in your hands, you could feel the energy it transmitted, I continued moving forward, being almost sure that this was the right place.
It was already late afternoon and the sun was showing its last rays in a sky filled with purple and orange tones, which brought to my being the peace I was looking for in the middle of a beautiful landscape. Intuition did not fail me this time, when I looked up to admire my surroundings, I could see my companion standing in front of a for sale sign with a big smile and his hands in a sign of approval.

Wow @flywithmarlin
You have embodied this fictional theme of buying a coffee farm so well. It was realistic and filled with details that might motivate someone to acquire a coffee farm.
I like the way disappointment was dealt with by a silent cry, as drama seldom has any good:)
Hello friend, thank you for stopping by my publication, believe me that writing this story was a real pleasure that brought back beautiful memories of my walks when I was little through the fields with my grandfather, who taught me a lot about the land and its crops, although they were not coffee, but cocoa seed from where chocolate comes out, the ways of treating the plants and conditions are quite similar. Please enjoy a great cup of coffee and have fun. See you soon.

with so many fantastic descriptions it was easy to feel part of each landscape mentioned. Without a doubt, a place like this would make a great coffee farm.
You write beautifully! I was lost with "you", hopeless, I felt how everything culminated into this surging moment... and then you run into the woods, and all of the magnificence you hoped for presents itself... the coffee beans radiating connection. Amazing. 😍
