A couple stand out points of your initial paragraph:
put some coffee on (✅)
maple yogurt (Shut up! - Are you serious? I want!)
I'm having amaretto coffee (You sure do it in style Jacey!)
I like that you had good coffee at the office. It's something I lack. They have a Nespresso pod coffee thing which I enjoy but it's in the customer waiting area and I don't like to use it. So, instant disappointment, it is mostly. I'm probably being a little misleading in my posts on this topic to be honest as the opportunity to exit the office at any time I choose exists...But I'm going to stick with the instant disappointment theme for the sake of my posts. Poetic license and all. 😀
Your last line...I reward effort, usually rather generously, and so I support this young lady. I don't really know her all that well, but her effort, dedication, ownership and responsibility makes her worthy of my support. It's a mutually agreeable scenario.
I hope you're having a good weekend. I'll be up on the roof of my garage in a bit, assessing a job, and then the dreaded IKEA store is on the cards. I believe the modern term is KMN. (Kill me now.) 😜
Maple Yogurt ! I know !
I don't keep all the fancy stuff here all the time, but I had a fresh grocery delivery yesterday, so all the good stuff is here. MAPLE !...Cream top too.... and Non GMO. What more can you ask for ?? There is also Cherry Vanilla yogurt waiting in the frig too, that actually has a little bit of real cherries in it...... OH YUM !
Poetic license.... It seems I can't always tell when that applies in your writing ! ....so I respond as if you are telling the un-embelished truth 😇 ! It makes me laugh when you fess up after my responses.
I enjoy being brutally honest and applying poetic license in equal measure...It keeps it interesting for me and people's responses to what they think it not real, or what is, often amuses me. I mean, me saying about the coffee thing being poetic license...Maybe it really is and just maybe that comment itself is poetic license. Lol. Now it's getting confusing!
I want me some maple yogurt! That's the truth, no poetic license at all.
