As a little boy, I always see my dad mostly early in the morning with a gold-like cylindrical tin with coffee written on it, and after seeing him with this gold-like cylindrical tin, what next is Amazing "Aroma" all over the house.
The Aroma was always amazing and inviting.
My dad is a disciplinarian and I can't just walk up to him with a series of questions at the same time, and as a result, I went straight to my mum.
"Mum what is the secret behind this coffee tea dad always prepares every morning with an inviting aroma, I asked"
Hehehe, she laughed and replied, your dad's love for coffee tea is next to none and he loves to prepare it himself. I offered to help him prepare it countless number of times but he declined, Mum added.
"Mum did you know how to make the coffee tea the way dad always makes it, I asked"?
She replied, "I know little about how your dad makes the coffee tea". I will advise you to meet him if you really want to know more about the coffee tea, I smiled and said okay mum.
At about 6:00 pm, Dad was sitting under the mango tree with a Newspaper in his hands and I said to him, "Dad I would like to discuss something important with you, sir". He replied okay I am all ears.
Dad, I noticed that your love for coffee tea is next to none, and I would also love to emulate it, the Aroma is always inviting and I would want you to teach me how I can make an amazing coffee tea.
Dad smiled and said to me, "That was thoughtful of you". He added that making coffee tea is not as difficult as I thought but going by a particular method would make you good at that method.
I asked, "Dad are you saying there are various methods of brewing coffee"? He replied yes and mentioned a few coffee brewing methods such as the pour-over method, cold brew method, coffeemaker method, etc.
Dad said that amongst all these coffee-brewing methods his favorite is the pour-over method.
He took his time to explain and teach me how to brew coffee using this method. He talked about paper filters used to prevent undissolved coffee particles from having their way into the final stage.
He categorically said that this method makes the coffee very smooth when taken(drank) and gives it a tea-like look.
Today, I brewed amazing coffee tea but I can't deny the fact that the coffee tea I love drinking and enjoy most is the one brewed by my dad because "Dad had an amazing coffee brewing formula".
Thanks for stopping by.

Lol, just like my dad who prefers to prepare his food himself. Though I have not bothered to ask him about his secret.
The coffee actually has a tea-like look just like your dad said, I think you have already mastered the pour over method hehe
Doing something with a certain degree of confidence gives some level of satisfaction and the belief that one is the best.
I think your dad must be a great cook and that is the reason why he loves to do the cooking himself.
My dad also believes none of us could brew the coffee in his own way and that we all understand.
Appreciate you stopping by and thanks for the kind compliments.
First of all I like your cup. Hehehe
And second its great you learn from the best

It's way cool that your fathers method of making coffee stuck with you so strongly, that even now it feels as if you are making his coffee. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the kind compliments friend, I really appreciate it.
It's good to know you also learned the brewing formula from your dad, that way you are also able to enjoy making your own coffee.
