❤️❤️❤️ ***"HAPPY VALENTINE's DAY"*** ❤️❤️❤️
Hello Hiver's! How are you?
While having a snack of black coffee and ginanggang (grilled skewered banana brushes with margarine and sprinkled with sugar) this afternoon. Which the ginanggang is my favorite afternoon snack ever since I was a child. And having a coffee at afternoon is part of my routine.
I realized that it was tomorrow is Valentine's Day. A special/romantic day for most of the couple especially for the people who celebrated of it. And the news feed of social media is full of posting of receiving flowers, chocolates, gifts, of their dates and how they celebrated it. On your mind "What is the feeling of receiving flowers, chocolates, gifts or having a simple dinner date outside?" On that Valentine's Day especially for the girls.
At my afternoon favorite spot. While having a snack I also love watching Showtime (noontime show) here in Philippines. It's my entertainment it made me laugh and my afternoon past time. After of my afternoon nap or just get out of the bored of the afternoon.
My own answer on my question is honestly I don't know what's the feeling of receiving it. Because even before I didn't experience of receiving that things. Valentine's Day for me is just an ordinary day and nothing special.
I eat first the ginanggang which is my favorite snack especially the banana is very ripe, soft. And followed by the black coffee. (Look at that satisfying smile it only means that I loved my snacks now 😄).
Even I have partner now, I didn't experience that 'coz he is a 'nonchalant' type of man (he is not a sweet type even of words or affirmation or even on action. But on the other things he is a good partner I didn't experience that he say bad words towards me or being punch by him. He is a good provider which is I was thankful for). For almost 4 years of we are together he didn't give any (I didn't complain huh I'm just sharing hehe 😊). Even a single stem of rose or a chocolate. Or any gifts or even just a simple dinner date. Valentine's Day is just same as an ordinary day for us. Nothing extra special, nothing to celebrate it. We just stay at home and doing our daily routine. At our first Valentine's Day together I was initiate of having a dinner. But as the expected he refused it and that means I was feel rejected that time. So on the next Valentine's Day I didn't initiate. Until I was used to it every Valentine's Day and didn't expect anymore.
After a few minutes, only 1 stick of ginanggang was left and the coffee was almost half of cup. (And it means I almost full 😃).
Sometimes I was thinking of how does the feeling if I have received or experience that. I'm sure if I experience that I was so happy and a feeling of a very lucky special girl. By the way it was until here I share.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY again everyone. I hope you feel happy celebrating it.
Take care.
