Hello Hiver's! Good day to everyone.
Who are in here who loves siomai? Raise your hand 😃. Before when I still a teenager. My sister asks me to go to the park to eat siomai. But I always refuse it and sometimes if I like I accompanied her. And she is the one who only eat it. Because I did not like siomai that time. But I try to taste it but I find It taste weird. But my sister always loved to eat siomai.
When I started working. I remember one of my workmates who assigned at night shift. Before the pandemic came. She proudly introduces me to try to taste the siomai that she brought outside in a food stall. That only cost $0.17 for 3pieces of siomai (3pcs/10php) with a sauce. At first I refuse to try it. But she forcing me to try at least one. So that to stop her I follow her order and I try to eat one. As I try I was amazed to the taste of the siomai partner with it sauce. The sauce was like a palapa (sweet and spicy condiments). Which is I about to like it. Until my work schedule is night and I try to buy siomai. Which he only sells from 5pm until it was run of stock. Until I used to buy it always. Which until I became addicted to eat and until now.
Since we have still a siomai at the freezer. I decided to steam it. And since we did not have a chili garlic sauce I decided to cook for a chili garlic. I make a 3in1 coffee to partner with it. To have my snack.
This is a chicken siomai. I just brought it at the supermarket. And I also make toyomansi (soy sauce and calamansi) and I put a little amout of brown sugar. To neutralize the saltness of soy sauce. And the chili garlic who I cook earlier. I love to cook a chili garlic sauce 'coz I want to make it crispy and a darker. Unlike if I buy outside is different from what I want.
I used to do this when I always eat siomai. I always cut to half of siomai so that the sauce will soak inside and chili garlic on top.
And plus a cup of coffee. A 3in1 coffee who is easy to make.
A sweating, happy and satisfying face. ‘Coz the chili garlic I made was so spicy.
Sip of coffee. The day is incomplete without a coffee. I usually drink 2 cups of coffee every day. At the morning and the afternoon.

I think you must try maybe your going to like it. And it is good if the siomai is also hot.
Did you just eat the Somai without rice po?
Yes, mostly I eat just a siomai. But sometimes if I crave at lunch I partner with rice.
Ohhh sounds yummy to try the coffee match with the siomai. I try it to know whats it taste🥰 Enjoy your day sipping coffee 😇
For me it's a good match. Pandemic time, this is what I just eat every lunch.
you just gave me an idea for a coffee afternoon at home.
Hehe I was used to do this at afternoon. Because I have more time and I much enjoyed my coffee. 'Coz in morning I was in hurry to do household chores.
I have never eaten it, but it seems that you enjoy it a lot and even more when we accompany it with our favorite drink, coffee.
Yes, it's true. I enjoyed it so much having my snack.
