Happy Monday my dear coffee lovers!
A few days ago I had a super complicated day that had me out on the street very early and walking for many hours. So around noon I wanted to rest my feet, I was hungry and needed a coffee to give me energy back, but my budget was pretty tight.
Doesn't it happen to you that if you don't drink coffee in the morning you have no energy or you get a headache?
While passing by a Burger King, I saw the advertisement for the breakfast offers and it seemed to me that it was a price that fit our budget (that day I was going with my husband), even more so if we took advantage of the discount offered by the application. In addition, the place was almost empty and I could sit in a cool and pleasant environment, even use the bathroom facilities before continuing with the pending tasks that we had ahead of us that day.
At noon, was it still possible to order breakfast? This may seem like a silly question, but I rarely eat at these types of places and this would be my second time eating at a Burger King. It turned out that we were able to order without any problems.
I was surprised when my husband came to the table with the two breakfast options, the sweet and the savory (Although the sandwich disappeared before I could document it 😅).
I had very low expectations for this breakfast, I just hoped it would give me some energy back. So when I saw that the coffee was a considerable size I imagined it would be watery and tasteless.
I was very pleasantly surprised when I discovered that the coffee was strong, but not strong as if burnt, but with the right amount of concentration. It was not the best coffee in the world and there were notes of acidity, but it gave me energy back and warmed my stomach.
The price-quality ratio exceeded my expectations, since we are talking about the fact that the coffee and 2 croissants combo came out to less than 2 dollars, while in a coffee shop the same combo with a coffee half the size costs approximately 5 dollars or more. And it's not always a better quality coffee than this one from Burger King.
As for the small sandwich (of which there is no photo) it was a hamburger bun filled with a bit of cheese and a bit of ham. A bit disappointing next to the promotional photo, although logic and the price indicated that it couldn't be anything special.
The croissants were tasty, they felt soft as if they were fresh, but they weren't anything special either. I found it quite in line with the price.
They say that when you're hungry, there's no stale bread, which means that when you're hungry, any food seems tasty, and maybe that's why I found this breakfast so delicious. The truth is that if you look at it in detail, spending less than 2 dollars and being able to have a large, warm coffee (it could even be coffee with milk), sitting in a comfortable place where you can go to the bathroom afterwards; it's an economical and practical option. Also, if you're on a tight budget and need to have a snack to regain energy, this seems like an excellent option to me. I would definitely do it again.

It also happens to me that if I don't drink coffee, I get a headache 😅 It was a good option and the price is affordable, where I live with $2 you can barely buy a small coffee in a cafe and without anything to accompany it. It's good that you managed to get this option to replenish your energy 🙏

Hi, the croissants look very tasty, the price of the breakfast is great and even more if the coffee was a good size, it was a good choice! Regards
It happens to me ALL THE TIME, if I don't drink coffee as soon as I open my eyes, I get a headache haha. Thx for sharing, now I'm hungry and want some coffee. ^^
