I come from a family where coffee is the heart of our lives so to speak, starting because it is one of the main means to obtain economic resources since it is a coffee growing area located in the Andean foothills of Barinas state in the Venezuelan Andes, where the main item is coffee and this tradition has passed from generation to generation, so you can not miss, on any occasion.
If you visit, they will always give you a cup of coffee while you chat and have a nice time. Its landscape is great, their houses are surrounded by coffee plants, when the flowering begins until the grain in the bush is spectacular, observe this process, and when the beans are ripe, families help and collaborate with each other, to collect the harvest.
As a child I enjoyed it very much, I never missed my grandfather, he was always there, I loved it and I spent a lot of time among the coffee bushes, sometimes playing and sometimes helping where I could.
My grandfather likes to get up early and the aroma of coffee was the magic alarm clock, that aroma reached the room and in seconds the family was together before leaving early for the workday.
We love coffee so much that we usually accompany it in almost everything, in breakfasts, lunches, dinners and in any event and even in a special liqueur with aroma and flavor of coffee... That in another occasion I will give you details of this rich drink. Grateful to the Cinnamon Cup Coffee community for allowing me to reach all the corners of the planet where coffee is loved.
Until the next post.

Hello @jynura,
It's lovely memories like these that will always make us smile. It made me smile reading your post, at least.
There's always an unspoken rule of what to offer guests when they visit your place, and coffee was definitely it for you. For me growing up in Jamaica, we always picked fresh lime from the tree in my back garden to make a cold glass of lemonade for visitors.
Thanks for stopping by:)
Have a great day!
