I still don't understand why Kouign Amann became popular and is now sort of fix menu at coffee shop these days other than croissant. To me, they're too sweet and especially when they sell cinnamon flavored. But it makes snese as pairing for Americano or non-latte cause they complement each other. I love the display of cacti and succulents there.
