What happens when you combine coffee, brushes, and a blank sheet of paper that invites you to do different things on a quiet afternoon?
Hello, coffee lovers, I introduce myself here: I'm Made, and if you're reading me in this community, it's because I've finally found my tribe. I've been trying to participate here for some time, as English is not my native language, I was a bit embarrassed about not doing it well, but @bertrayo encouraged me to share my love for coffee, cafes, and more.
Today I bring you what happened during an afternoon of coffee with some brushes. It turns out my friends gave me the "Wreak this Journal" and for free interpretation, I decided that for this occasion I would paint with coffee. So, I ordered my usual Americano☕ took out my book, a brush with a reservoir, and an instant coffee packet that I have in my emergency kit.
The book's challenge asked me to do things with my left hand, but since I am left-handed, I did it with my opposite hand. I made a small sketch, as neat as I could, and then it was just a matter of moistening the paper so the coffee would slide while it dried, taking a few sips from my cup and humming along to the song playing on my playlist Slow Dancing-V.
I took from my coffee, yes, breaking etiquette rules, but making it fun, and I started adding coffee, obviously, the stain was very light, but for that, I used the instant coffee packet to give it some darkness and a bit of sepia to the drawing. The workers at the market café near the house watched from the counter. I suppose they thought they would have a lot to clean up, but that won't be the case from my side; I finished my coffee, waited a while for the paint to dry. It was an excellent exercise to enjoy coffee not only in the cup but also to make art. The best part is the aroma that remained on the paper; I love it.
Do you like the idea of me continuing to paint with coffee?

Wow, amazing drawing, it really amazes me that you could make such beautiful art with just coffee. To be honest I was really fascinated by your art. Cheers!
Oh I've done this sort of activity book in the past too! It's so fun. And your coffee art ended up looking pretty well, I must say. (I'm left-handed too! Hi!)
