I burst into a quite cozy coffee shop from the moment you enter, the coffee shop is called Kaldivia Café, being a coffee shop located in the city of Bogota, in the town of Chapinero, a fairly busy area, is that this area has many coffee shops, so many that you do not know them all, there are always some hidden out there, in narrow streets, in places that do not look like coffee shops from the outside, sometimes it goes unnoticed.

One of the things that caught my attention of this place is that at the entrance there is a big coffee roaster and it looks quite old, I don't know if it's because of the brown colors and wood, but it looks quite nice and according to the theme of the place.

The cafeteria has a predominance of yellow color in front of the bar, which gives an aspect of warm place, because also the tables are made of wood, there are some teapots decorating, with some artificial branches, I find it quite comfortable because also at the back has a long piece of furniture that covers the entire wall along the place, covering about 5 tables approximately.

In the menu we can get a diverse amount of products, among them there are breakfasts, sweets, cakes, cold coffee, hot coffee, juices, and some diversity in coffee with alcohol, the desserts looked very recent and looked delicious, the showcase has a great variety among them, there was red velvet cake, cheesecake, chocolate cake, cinnamon roles, carrot cake, bread, cookies, sandwiches and more, ready to accompany your favorite coffee.

In my personal experience I ordered a double Americano, and a carrot cake, the Americano was a variety from a coffee growing area of Colombia called Huila, the coffee was very rich, although quite loaded because it was double, very strong and I took it at night, almost until midnight was that I could sleep, It was very strong but definitely very tasty, as to recharge energy early in the morning, and the carrot cake was also quite tasty, very soft sugar, as I like it, that does not have so much sugar and has just enough to not cloy me too much, it had a cream on top and in the middle of lemon that was perfect in its mixture.

I think this coffee shop is also perfect to buy the coffee you take home, freshly roasted and you can choose from the wide variety they have, in my experience I think the coffee is not so expensive, let's say it is normal price about 6,000 Colombian pesos a cup of double American coffee I had, about USD $ 1.5, and the carrot cake with a cost of 10,000 Colombian pesos about USD $ 2.5, worth the experience and the good time.

It seems to be a very cozy place, ideal to spend a pleasant time.

If that double espresso and carrot cake are worth paying for, the place looks cozy. I loved it a lot, and the cup caught my eye too 😍
