RE: CLOSED - Coffee Conversation: Event 55

Anzoátegui is decent. I prefer Amanecer. I'm not sure about Venezuelan "criollo" coffee being one kind of coffee. Forty years ago, Venezuelan criollo meant "guayoyo con papelón" (americano with cane honey). Twenty years ago, it was something similar to a lungo. Right now I couldn't tell what is Venezuelan criollo anymore 🤯

We need to try and try until we find what we like, I guess. And we need a lot of money for that 🤑

Well, I was referring to the one that is roasted at home in an artisanal way. For me that flavor is unique, extraordinary. @marlyncabrera

Well, if you have good beans and know what you're doing, I think your coffee will always be better than any commercial brand ❤️

I'd love to have some good beans, utensils, and knowledge to roast my own coffee. I can't get enough of the delicious scent. Unfortunately, for now I'm just ignorant when it comes to artisan coffee 🙈 I only know that in my experience as a consumer of artisan coffee, sometimes I've been disappointed: you never buy the same quality; you don't know if the coffee will be excellent, just good, or unpalatable.

Well, not everyone knows how to roast coffee well. In my region there are people from the countryside that do it very well and their coffee has no comparison @marlyncabrera

That's awesome. I'd wish I could say the same of roasters around here 😼
