Hello, coffee friends!
When it comes to breakfast, I'm a Hobbit! But if I had to choose only one breakfast, it'd be at 11 am, since I like to do the housework before anything else and not on a full stomach.
When it comes to breakfast, I'm a Hobbit! I usually get up before 6 a.m. When my husband wakes up, around 7 a.m., I've already had an espresso and started making masala chai, a habit that we have adopted lately and with which we feel great (bones and joints).
While the spices and leaves for the masala chai are infusing, we eat some fruit and sometimes some raw vegetables if there are leftovers from the previous day's salad. This can then be considered breakfast, BUT, about 3 hours later, around 11 a.m., we eat for real, hehe: today, for example, arepas, scrambled eggs, babaganoush and sardines in garlic and parsley vinaigrette (which I prepared last Sunday); this would be our second breakfast, as a Hobbit would call it.
At this point, we're still missing the elevenses 🙈 Today it was a handful of peanuts. We don't eat again until 5-6pm, a pretty late lunch; maybe that's why we do so many breakfasts and almost no dinner.
This works perfectly for us because we have most mornings to work from home.
Apparently the 11 o'clock breakfast is abundant and very delicious, I think that with that they no longer need such an abundant lunch.🤭
I leave you a cup of coffee for this Sunday.☕
I agree. If it's well rounded, a late breakfast can give energy for the whole day 😁
Thanks for the coffee. Here's one for you, too!
Well your eleven o'clock breakfast looks a bit like an early lunch. You sure do look like a Hobbit 😂.
Well, my feet are not that big and hairy, fortunately 🤣
I'm a Hobbit, friend. I am.
Very nice your coffee conversation 😊, I love to read you because your way of writing is very pleasant, you describe the moment very well
You're so kind, my coffee friend! Thank you so much.
How strong... I just the opposite I love to have breakfast and coffee before starting my routine for the day ☕ ♨️ 🤎
