Hello my dear friends from the community of delicious coffee lovers. Coffee for me is like the air I breathe, I can't miss it, I always find an opportunity to enjoy a delicious coffee wherever I go. If I visit a place I have to try their coffee, if they make it tasty and pleasing to the eye I give them a high score haha, but if it doesn't meet my expectations I cross it off my list of good places.
This weekend I went with my husband to visit the Hotel Nacional with the main objective of enjoying the pleasant atmosphere of the hotel that has the magic of transporting us back in time a century ago.
After visiting the Cuban art gallery that I shared in this post, we went to the gardens to enjoy its beautiful surroundings and of course in search of a coffee.
The first thing that greets us in the garden is a beautiful octagonal fountain with two overlapping canopies that emanate water, observing it is always very refreshing visually.
But the gaze doesn't stop here, there's a lot of beauty around. The garden is very spacious and the greenery of the lawn is really beautiful. Beyond the garden is the immense sea with a very captivating blue hue.
As I walked, I found details that captured my attention. Suddenly I see the peacocks, how beautiful! There are several females and a beautiful male who is the one with a very long and colorful feathered tail, I was not lucky enough to see him open his tail, it will be another time.
To the left of the entrance is the Bar Habana Club and we decided to go for a coffee. The Bar is very well equipped for a wide variety of drinks, it also has a coffee maker. In addition, it is open so you can continue to enjoy the surroundings, we chose to sit in front of the garden and asked them for 2 cappuccinos.
Quickly the waitress brought us the coffee on elegant tableware, I really like white slab tableware.
The tableware is made up of a large tray that has the emblem of the hotel printed on it and contained the two cups of cappuccino coffee and a sugar bowl to sweeten it to our liking.
The coffee is accompanied by a vanilla cookie. I added a teaspoon of sugar to my coffee and my husband added two to his because he likes it so sweet.
I will tell you that the cappuccino was very well prepared, the milk foam was delicious and of course with cinnamon powder on top, we mixed all its ingredients and the flavor was spectacular, I loved it!, I am sure to repeat on the next visit.
After savoring the delicious coffee my spirits were high, I was satisfied because everything was perfect, the atmosphere, the tranquility, the beautiful view of the entire environment, I felt happy.
We continued walking through the garden and further on, in the vicinity of the outer boundary we stopped to see two powerful cannons that were used during the colonial era in the eighteenth century to defend the city.
These canyons are kept well preserved because they have great historical and heritage value.
Nearby there is a beautiful marble square that has a nautical rose on the floor.
From here the view of the boardwalk is beautiful, we sat in front of the sea to fully enjoy it with the breeze that caressed our faces.
Friends, I recommend you visit this beautiful place and enjoy an exquisite coffee, I assure you that you will like it 100%.

Hola mis queridos amigos de la comunidad de los amantes del delicioso café. El café para mí es como el aire que respiro, no me puede faltar, siempre encuentro una oportunidad para disfrutar de un rico café donde quiera que vaya. Si visito un lugar tengo que probar su café, si lo hacen sabroso y agradable a la vista les doy una puntuación alta jaja, pero si no cumple mis expectativas lo tacho de mi lista de buenos lugares.
Este fin de semana fui con mi esposo a visitar el Hotel Nacional con el principal objetivo de disfrutar del agradable ambiente del hotel que tiene la magia de transportarnos en el tiempo un siglo atrás.
Luego de visitar la galería de arte cubano que les mostré en este post fuimos a los jardines a disfrutar de su bello entorno y por supuesto en busca de un café.
Lo primero que nos recibe el jardín es una linda fuente octagonal con dos copas superpuestas que emanan agua, observarla es siempre muy refrescante visualmente.
Pero la mirada no se detiene aquí, hay mucha belleza alrededor. El jardín es muy amplio y el verdor del césped es realmente hermoso. Y más allá del jardín está el inmenso mar con un tono azul muy cautivador.
A medida que caminaba encontraba a mi paso detalles que capturaban mi atención. De pronto veo los pavos reales ¡qué hermosos! Hay varias hembras y un precioso macho que es el que tiene la cola de plumas muy larga y colorida, no tuve la suerte de verlo abrir su cola, en otra oportunidad será.
A la izquierda de la entrada está el Bar Habana Club y decidimos ir para tomarnos un café.
El Bar está muy bien equipado para realizar una amplia variedad de tragos, también tiene la máquina de preparar café.
Además, es abierto por lo que se puede seguir disfrutando del entorno, escogimos sentarnos frente al jardín y les pedimos 2 capuchinos.
Rápidamente nos trajeron el café en una vajilla elegante, me gusta mucho la vajilla de losa blanca.
La vajilla está compuesta por una bandeja amplia que tiene impreso el emblema del hotel y contenía las dos tazas de café capuchino y una azucarera para endulzarlo a nuestro gusto. El café viene acompañado con una galletica de vainilla. Le añadí una cucharadita de azúcar a mi café y mi esposo le puso dos al suyo porque le gusta muy dulce.
Les diré que el capuchino estaba muy bien preparado, la espuma de leche estaba deliciosa y por supuesto con canela en polvo encima, al removerlo mezclamos todos sus ingredientes y el sabor era espectacular ¡me encantó!, estoy segura de repetir en la próxima visita.
Después de saborear el delicioso café mis ánimos estaban bien arriba, estaba satisfecha porque todo era perfecto, el ambiente, la tranquilidad, la vista preciosa de todo el entorno, me sentía feliz.
Continuamos caminando por el jardín y más adelante, en las cercanías con el limite exterior nos detuvimos a ver dos poderosos cañones que fueron usados durante la época colonial en el siglo XVIII para defender la ciudad. Estos cañones se mantienen bien conservados porque tienen un gran valor histórico y patrimonial.
Muy cerca hay una hermosa plazoleta de mármol que tiene en el piso una rosa náutica
Desde aquí la vista del malecón es preciosa, nos sentamos frente al mar para disfrutarlo plenamente con la brisa que nos acariciaba el rostro.
