Coffees that are fermented with fruits are not always that pleasant, but this one was different, yet not too funky. The previous one that was fermented with strawberries was definitely wild, but not that good tasting. I think that this is a way that farmers can make not-so-good coffee taste different and of course, more expensive. If one lot is below expectations for the standard, any not throw some fruits inside and ferment it?
Just kidding. This processing gives amazing flavors to the beans and the coffee is worth trying!
