Hello, Cinnamon Cup Coffee Community!
Today I will share with you a very nice coffee shop, located in the heart of Da Nang city, where I am living and working. One afternoon after work, I was invited by a friend of mine to a coffee shop near where I worked. In my country, when friends want to meet, most of them come together to coffee shops, which are places that give us space to talk together. And today I would like to share with you the coffee shop that we went to that afternoon, the one called Nguoi Yeu Cu ( with his English name being Old Lover).
Located at No. 25 Le Ba Trinh Street, Hoa Cuong Bac Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City, Old Lover Coffee is one of the famous coffee shops here. Since this is not the main road, traffic is quite small, so it is very quiet here, suitable for dating with friends or family. At first glance, the space of the bar looked quite small, but when I walked inside, I was really surprised by the open space, which was designed in the shape of a tube house, with the main color range of white and gray, creating a cool and spacious space.
In front of the gate of the coffee shop, there is a sign engraved on the wooden name of the coffee shop: Old Lover written in Vietnamese, the entrance is to the garden part of the bar. Table and chairs in the garden are arranged on one side close to the wall, in the middle is the entrance, with the gray color of the row of chairs made of cement and the background is spread with gray gravel, the two sides of the wall are decorated with cactus trees of high body type, decorated with white pebbles under the tree, so when coming to the yard, customers have felt the coolness and harmony. The top is decorated with led lights with warm yellow light, besides the coolness, there is also a mix of cozy space at night.
Then there's the indoor space, with dispensing counter. All dishes are ordered at the counter, which is also a trend for coffee shops in Da Nang today, convenient to choose different drinks, and available prices, and you can choose the one you like and pay right at the counter. The drinks here are very diverse, and the price is very reasonable, suitable for all students or those who have gone to work, ranging from 20,000 VND to 60,000 VND, including coffee, tea, yogurt, soda... There are also snacks such as green bean cake, sunflower seeds, peanut candy, and soya at a very cheap price of only 15,000 VND. The dispensing counter is also quite small but extremely beautiful, very neatly arranged, and eye-catching. The drinks are prepared by the boss, so they are very meticulous and thoughtful, always bringing the best drinks to the coffee shop. The space around it is organized into several sets of wooden tables and chairs, and there's a concept next door in the classic style, which is a wooden cabinet made about a dozen years ago, an ancient ceramic vase, and a little television set, and I'm guessing it's 50-60 years old, or maybe more, because I've never seen this television set before, and it looks so pretty.
Entering the inner space of the coffee shop, I was also quite surprised because it was changed to white, creating a feeling of spaciousness and depth. The inside is designed as a skylight area for light. It is still decorated with tall cactus trees combined with white gravel. The wall is decorated with items made of bamboo spokes, and wooden shelves, placed on the photo frames, old cameras, flower pots, old radios... With the vintage style in this space, you will get a lot of different ways to pose and take the best photos. My friend and I chose this space to sit in because the white color made me very interested and fascinated.
In addition, next to the dispensing counter, there is a spiral staircase leading to the second floor. It's a loft lined with wooden floors. Therefore, the second-floor space is designed according to the brown color of wood, wooden tables, and chairs, and wooden bookshelves with many different types of books. If you want a quiet space to read books, the second floor is a very reasonable choice for you. Besides, the space on the second floor is also decorated with lots of green plants or jars of dried flowers on the bookshelves. A corner of the wall is also decorated with an old-fashioned wooden cabinet, a black-and-white television set, and a guitar next to it. Going out to the balcony, there's an interesting sitting place along with the small balcony. On the side of the wall is a wooden shelf, on which are cactus pots of various kinds, and other green trees. Sitting there you can look down below the courtyard in front of the gate, or overlook the road with the flow of people passing by. If you like the open space, you can see the outside then the balcony space is a reasonable choice for you when coming to the Old Lover Coffee.
With different spaces from the garden to the inside space or the second floor of the bar, along with cozy yellow lights, this is a great coffee shop for you to date friends or lovers. I'm particularly interested in the slogan: There is coffee here that is better than your ex! 🤣
