Hello @blind-spot, what a story! I feel honoured that you've brought your excellent writing to this initiative. You surely know how to write a great story. I remember you from many months ago; you captured me totally with every word you wrote in a post; and have done so again:)
Winter hasn't settled yet and I already hate going outside. Daytime is bearable, but the walk back home during the evenings is so painful.
And this is when he happened.
Doing good deeds when we are facing our personal struggles makes us better human beings😊
"Thanks for lookin' me in the eyes...and treatin' me like a human."
This is all it takes sometimes. Doing this is like soul food, and can mean so much to someone experiencing life's low...I mean rock bottom!
One thing, are you missing the image sources for the first and third photo? Please edit and cite the relevant sources.
Thanks for sharing this with us, and for using the right first tag. Your participation is appreciated:)
Hi @millycf1976! You always have the nicest words to say! I look forward to such comments, really.
I hope it did change something in me. It sure feels very strengthening when you do something for others without asking for anything in return.
All the sources are embedded into the pictures and blockchain. Clicking on them will reveal/redirect. I think hive.blog shows it better. I could make it more apparent by sourcing them separately at the bottom if that suits the requirements better?
Ok, I thought maybe I was missing something. I'll make sure I can pick up the links. Wouldn't want anything to distract from the post.
Really pleased you took part, and what a great story 😁
Oh, yes! I saw the sources to both photos now.
I learn something new every day.
Great :)
All good😁
Thank you!@blind-spot
Same here! There is always something new on here to learn. Believe it or not I just learned about scheduling posts and I have been here for years haha
Haha! I just used Countdown for the first time; it was easier than I thought it would be:) So many elements and dimensions to hive. Slowly, slowly :)
